Title AI Girl
Just rewatched all 3 eps and I'm absolutely baffled at the low rating. Imo this is one of the best gl this year so far. For once they're giving us sth completely different, a unique and intriguing plot (so many possibilities how this could pan out!!), it's funny and cute but serious when it needs to, the characters have great chemistry and the love story good build-up plus the actors are brilliant. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Wow, that was absolutely terrible. The only thing that kept me going were the side ships. They were both actually cute, too bad they had about 10 seconds of screen time and a script that didn't do them justice either. Would really like to see FayGene get a series of their own, they have great chemistry and out of the whole cast Gene was the best actress here.

Probably unpopular opinion but I found the last episode rather disappointing unfortunately. After all the Korn drama I was hoping to see them all cutsie and in love but instead we got another completely unnecessary drama arc for 2 1/2 parts (and all that over ridiculous 3 months) and not enough LalWine moments.

Title The Air
Yup I wanted to see a proper backstory with for both Grace and Helena.Even the romance was just not that much…
It's very sad, we know almost nothing about Helena and only got a glimpse into Grace. We don't even know why the family was massacred. Was there a civil war? Did the royal family do it to get to the throne? Or was Grace's family part of some group that was a danger to Madelin society? 8 long episodes and I don't even know whether her actions were somewhat justified or not.

The romance was strange, at first Blew is confused, then she rejects Vayo, in the next ep they act all lovey-dovey, only for Blew to reject her again in the last ep out of duty but after one conversation with her brother she sacrifices everything. There wasn't enough build-up for me that justified the immediate love declarations and marriage after such short time.

Title The Air
Rarely have I seen a series with so many plot holes. The only saving grace of this was Freenbecky's chemistry and Veronica's acting who was brilliant. Too bad she was criminally underused, I wish we'd seen much more of her motivation instead of countless action scenes with incompetent criminals. The love story itself wasn't given enough attention either imo.

Thank you for this, it seems like we've had very similar thoughts (at the same time šŸ˜…). Some comments here…
I think a lot of people don't know much about trauma/mental health and are stuck on a very superficial "analysis" unfortunately, in the sense they can only see the "what" but not the "why" in Wine's behaviour

Completely agree. Wine isn’t selfish at all imo, on the contrary, she’s willing to sacrifice her own happiness (that she can’t live without in her own words) because she doesn’t want Lal to suffer, especially knowing how many other people depend on her. If anything, she feels unworthy of all the love she’s been given.

It seems like lots of people only see the ā€œmeanā€ things she says and conclude that she’s a bad person/doesn’t care enough etc. when in reality that’s her fear and trauma speaking. In the moments she’s able to overcome those, she’s shown that she’s actually great at taking care of and supporting Lal.

As for the show, I think I belong to the minority that likes angst even in otherwise light-hearted series so I’m not disappointed at all so far but I do hope they wrap up the Korn storyline by the end of next week so we get one ep of happy, dating LalWine to say goodbye (I am soooo not ready).

Exactly! She's become so much more courageous, I could name so many things she's done now that episode 1 Wine would have never dared that it always makes me sad when ppl say that Lal is doing all the work in their relationship and don't recognise how much harder everything is for Wine due to her trauma.

My thinking was why do cpr for a gun shot? lol
I thought the same at first, I guess she was at risk of drowning? Even tho I don't know why if the bullet only hit the bulletproof vest, I think she didn't even have a gunshot wound 😭

I see many people saying that wine gives in to Korn too much. But I feel like her trauma is bigger than we imagine.…
Thank you for this, it seems like we've had very similar thoughts (at the same time šŸ˜…). Some comments here are doing the exact same thing that Wine had to go through all this time and contributed to her trauma. In general I feel people are way too uncharitable towards her, her incredible character development and how much she's worked on herself.

Title Enemies with Benefits Spoiler
I understand why people are frustrated with Wine not confiding in Lal but healing from trauma takes a lot of time and isn’t always linear. Just because she was able to tell Lal about what happened with that man in the past doesn’t necessarily mean she’s ready for other steps as well. She’s clearly still heavily traumatised/gets triggered and freezes whenever Korn’s around. And it’s absolutely nobody’s fault, Lal has done everything in her power to support her but at the end of the day, Wine has to find that ā€œfinalā€ strength within herself but she’s obviously still struggling and it isn’t her fault either and it has nothing to do with her not trying hard enough or not wanting it enough, it’s simply the way trauma/mental health struggles work and I think they're doing a great job at showing it.
I agree that it’s more stereotypical story-writing to create (last-minute) drama but that doesn’t mean Wine holding back or is unrealistic, stupid or cowardly. All her life she’s received the message that she’s somehow to blame for what happened, she’s always felt like a burden to others, she has obvious avoidant tendencies and now on top of that that disgusting creature threatens not only her but also Lal, so I think it’s very much believable that Wine would choose to ā€œsacrificeā€ herself to protect Lal.

Yeah, not exactly the "real world." When they asked about proving Blew is the real princess, my first…
yeah there's so many things that make zero sense to me lol. I'll continue watching because it's entertaining, funny and bc of FreenBecky's amazing chemistry but the plot itself is a complete mess
