At first I thought they might pull a "Pluto" and reveal at some point that Key actually met Sun in the past 😅 but now that they already met it doesn't look like it... In any case I love Sun, she's sassy, direct, takes no shit and seems to care a lot about Chan, I think she'll captain the ChanKey ship 🙂‍↕️

Would love to hear your thoughts on the plot holes! Bc I've seen several ppl mention them but never with a concrete example. imo the series was pretty much straightforward and not overly complex. Maybe some things weren't very much believable for some ppl but I think we got explanations for pretty much everything?
(Agree with the rest tho, the moral posturing is incredibly annoying and it's my fav GL of 2026 along with Hometown Romance)

Because she's already had this one fond memory of her and then had been observing her for months via the screen. She quite literally says so.

Ohhh I love queendom too, I feel like i'm very picky with GL but that's one of my favs!! Runaway is one of the few I haven't seen bc I'm scared of horror 😭

I wouldn't really call it doomed, I mean they had 45 years together but it was sooo tough to watch but at the same time it made the ending for me so much better and elevated their love so much 😭😭😭 Wish I could crash out on twitter too, I'm in the wrong bubble for that, maybe I need a 2nd account 😭😭
I am VERY excited for Moonshadow (US is my fav of all time) but I'm definitely not in the right headspace to start that now, I need 3-365 business days to calm down first 😭😭

Honestly yes. I don't think remembering a face as beautiful as Irene's years later is unrealistic, especially considering Gen's profession, it's certainly something that comes very natural to her. And it was made clear that she felt drawn to Irene immediately even if she couldn't remember her later, her subconscious did.

I agree, I also loved the theories but at the same time I thought making it about time travel would have been a big risk, too. Bc as a show writer you can't expect all viewers to have watched LBD, so those who hadn't either wouldn't have understood what was going on or you would have had to find a way to explain the time travel plot in this show which I believe would have been kinda weird. Overall I'm happy with the explanation of how Gen and Irene "knew" each other, I don't find it illogical at all, even if it was less deep than others have hoped for.

I'm very satisfied with the ending (even tho none of the big theories came true). For once a show that doesn't introduce unnecessary new drama plot in the last ep just for the sake of it. The resolution is done beautifully (and not in the last minutes), we get some cute and spicy GenAi in love and the last scene had me crying like a baby (again). By far one of the best GL this year.

Yes, I think she will shoot her shot, trying to make Gen remember their past, but when she realises there is no way they'd ever be together again she will "revive" Ai. If Irene were 100% evil, she wouldn't have saved Ai from her father. And the self-destruct was a desperate act to get the lab guys to back off. She might even have told them herself where GenAi were just to get this over with bc she didn't want them to be fugitives forever.

I'm baffled at how some ppl are still team Irene. If you don't like Ai bc she's a robot ok, but Irene lied to and manipulated Gen, then borderline kills her gf, the person Gen says she loves?? Whatever happened in the past, I don't think Gen will forgive her and even less fall in love with her (again?). It's either GenAi endgame or no happy end at all (I sincerely hope Irene will bring back Ai tho)

But I do agree that Ai feels more human after Irene's intervention. I still think Irene is trying to help tho and I suspect the ring had sth to do with, maybe she transferred some emotions/memories or whatever to Ai... Can't wait to find out

that would be absolutely horrible. if Irene pretended to be Ai without Gen knowing, that would be a massive betrayal and depending how intimate they get essential sexual assault or rape and not a built-up to a romantic relationship.

Before the series started I thought so too, but we're now at 5/7 and there is 0 relationship between Gen and Irene. On the contrary, Gen made it clear twice that she considers her a stranger and that Ai's insecurity is completely unfounded. And Gen basically admitted to herself and her mom that she's in love with Ai, I don't see how they could make a u-turn in 2 eps... (this is all under the assumption that Irene is indeed a human, which I'm not convinced of yet 😅)

They might have done that on purpose to confuse the viewer, who knows 😭
What I think doesn't fit is that the preview showed Gen and Ai (?) all lovey dovey and being intimate. But in Ep 4, when Irene momentarily took control of Ai to delete the pictures and Gen grabs her hand she says "let go". It looked like she was uncomfortable taking advantage of Gen like that, so I don't know if only a bit later she'd be able/willing to massively deceive Gen. At least I hope they won't go down that route...

completely agree and I really hope for more MyChan series, they have great chemistry and I'm in awe of the acting, both are amazing, esp. Chanya is incredible, the way she portrays both characters is brilliant
