I know I have observed this too.... If he is a victim then why did she kick him on the stairs? I know he is rude but he is nowhere compared to that divorce unnie who bully's her. So why did she kick him? It could have gone bad ( I have fell from the stairs and thankfully I landed on my arm so it just ended with a fracture but fracture to an badminton athlete could be fatal) so when she said he is a victim then why did she kick him.... Sometimes she feels sorry towards him and sometimes she is rude to him so I am not able to guage her character and what she exactly wants.

That's what few scenes and dialogues are absurd like the scene where tae yang and Jung Hwan in his hometown. He was talking about something else and she was talking about something else. She was telling me have to overcome the past then he was like I don't want to because I don't want to forget her then FL was like I overcame but why are you still not able to. I mean, he is remembering her as his ex girlfriend but she was talking about the incident....very absurd
The drama is good, the chemistry between the leads is awesome but there is something off about the dialogues and scenes. Many dialogues doesn't make sense, feels out of place, many scenes feels out of place. One thing i am trying to understand since last week, ep 3 gave little more incite to what had happened 3 years ago but in the very 1st episode taeyong kicked jung hwan when they were on the stairs, that could have been dangerous , she would have caused one more accident and could have ruined one more national athlete's career. He is actually the victim because he might had to breakup with jun young after that accident but park taeyong is kicking him while she is sucking up to that senior sister who is actually bullying her when she is nowhere related to the incident nor knows the truth. so this is actually confusing me about the nature and character of tae yong.
I also fear that our ML cannot always win. I think the evil will strike back stronger than ever, and that one…
Baili is such a drama queen. I guess, the king has his own inhouse cdrama happening Infront of him every single day. When she said I am denouncing myself from the position. I wish the king had agreed, it would be fun to watch her face

Remember in the very 1st episode, there was a guy who gives the emperor the idea to spread the word about the lost imperial token, we still don't know who he is. I think he would be the ultimate enemy
I also fear that our ML cannot always win. I think the evil will strike back stronger than ever, and that one…
I completely agree. FL has become almost like a side character now. I hope her time comes to shine where she will become the backbone of Lan Xi. I hope that two face of Yu wu Yuan comes to light pretty early. I don't if I get into trouble by saying this but I am liking this more than the long ballad ( ofcourse both are different but I don't usually watch Chinese historical dramas so I can only compare this with that)....
Well, we've got just about everyone in this soup of two episodes. Every scheme played out by the evil Queen and…
I also fear that our ML cannot always win. I think the evil will strike back stronger than ever, and that one blow will knock down our Lan Xi (touch wood, lol). Also, Feng Ju has high ambitions but mediocre brains, so i think his final move will be to kill the King (I am sure of it, because his ans to every question is to just kill people) That is how he would get killed (because that's treason) I also want minister Feng and the 1st prince to get married(wishful thinking also Feng Chan deserves love) .
IMO she’s a short term problem tho I do like a crazy ex now and then. After this year’s Crazy Love and YLAG…
No no I agree, this eventually brings the lead together. But the way these exes think, it gets on to my nerves. Like how they are entitled to have the lead, even though they have wronged them and yet come Infront of them shamelessly as if nothing happened is what irritating
Finally finished episode 18. I almost started to tear up when Lanxi and Chang were talking. I so wanted them to…
I am low key praying for minister Fend and the 1st prince Chang. She is a very progressive and a good person, she would love Chang to the fullest and might as well cure his anxiety and his disease. In one of my comments below, when i said The king is not smart enough people just flocked at me saying the situation is making him act so or else he is smart......but i guess now everyone is getting tired of it. With age one becomes wise and this king becomes stupid
I understand or i tried understanding this crazy ex of Hyun Jae but everytime she comes on screen, i feel like just slapping her (I have already imagined slapping her multiple times, lol). I know she is going through a rough time in her life but i guess she deserves it. I don't know how far her husband is also guilty (I don't give a damn) but it is established that she has cheated in her marriage and she has shamelessly accepted it as well. so whatever she is going through, she called for it. So why should the entire world cater to her mood swings, rudeness, shamelessness, anxiety. Even Mi rae has gone through this phase where infact she was wronged by her ex husband, so why should she understand this crazy ex or feel pity for her. Whatever is happening to the ex now, she brought it upon herself. I know in the end, ML is going to win the case as a goodbye present to her and understand that she was on the edge so she behaved the way she is behaving now. Again, why should anybody cater to her because she is going through a divorce. When is Hyun Jae going to draw a line with her and say Shut the Fuck Up, and don't cross the line. He says he usually draws the line with his clients but so far he is just blindly following or accepting whatever she is doing. Even when he is telling her that "She is getting on his nerve, that was way too polite". I bet she even heard it. It is also giving her the false hope that she can win him over again.
I don't think we should take what the king says at face value. Rather it is FLX's analysis that is more accurate…
Atleast till ep 14 we have not seen the king use Feng Ju or anyone else to balance the matter. It is always the 2nd prince. It is like he is waiting for him to loose or make mistake. If Lan Xi wins then it is good for the state, he if he fails then the king gets a chance to punish him. So the king is only concentrating on the 2nd prince I feel, while the problem lies somewhere else like with the queen and Feng Ju. Now Feng Ju is involved in embezzlement as well. Do you think the king will punish him, no chance. He will just keep him in house arrest for a month. So king is just avoiding the problem by ignoring it. Just by lecturing the queen and Feng Ju won't make the problem go away. What's the point of being smart when the king doesn't even want to address the issue or punish the culprits.
While I don't like the king, I can see that he has his reasons for acting the way he does. There's a lot of fighting…
Exactly my point as there is alot of fight for power is going on between the 6 episodes, keeping the internal matter in check is highly important. The king is just ignoring or avoiding the situation where he had to punish his wife and the son. As he is the king, he needs to see the greater good of the state. I initially thought Feng Ju and queen are doing this to make Lan Xi loose and make Feng Ju the heir to the throne but in ep 14, it is shown that Feng Ju is also involved in the embezzlement of the state fund. So the problem is not simple or it will not go away just by ignoring or lecturing the queen and the 3rd prince.
