At this time, their relationship is so imbalanced, so one sided.....I read somewhere that, she is going to accept him and not push him away anymore when he helps her with the loan sharks who had lended the money to her mom (again)..... whenever this mom comes back, she dumps all her debts on MJ and duh!!!! That's been eventually dumped on Chen Yi..... She is so rude and cut throat with Chen Yi, but, gives chance over chance to her mom, because she is terminally sick....how convenient. If she wasn't sick, would she have looked for her daughter...I doubt,......

Chen yi, my boy.....has become a doormat for MJ and she is happily wiping her feet on him everytime.....

Lol..... That's so funny when you say that she doesn't want him to throw at danger when she had told him to call the cops when there were some thugs behind her. We have seen how a grown ass woman handles herself at the mouth of danger. Those thugs were so close to catching her when chen yi showed up with his car. If he hadn't come, god knows what would have happened....but, yeah, she is a grown woman...I guess, a man should have let her be like you said...... Zhang bin has said many times that he won't let both of them be or kill them..... And he has seen her investigate on his territory, I guess Chen yi should have let her be and face the consequences... A police officer couldn't get justice for the death of his wife....I guess, our FL is special, may develop wings and fly away when people come behind her because yes, she is a grown woman

FL is just a rude, ungrateful, selfish woman who thinks she is smart, yet does the opposite ,.......
Who doesn't care a bit about the ML where infact she had claimed that she wanted to help him or stay next to him...bla.bla..... all she has done so far is just take from him and given more trauma and stress for him....I actually don't see her any different from her mom who was also selfish back then....
I really think it's high time that CY should realize she is no longer that innocent 17 year old girl he knew ...she has changed and let her be or face the consequences of her actions because she has claimed twice or thrice already that she doesn't need his protection ....

Wait till you reach ep 23.... You will actually want to to strangle her.... She totally plays him by his horns

For me, she is a red flag....honestly.....
She barges into someone home, literally breaking the lock and entering. She notices some woman's belonging and without thinking twice she clears everything. She never thought that Chen Yi could be dating someone , how will it be for them to see another woman entering the house. I won't put them in siblings category as siblings don't kiss each other.....so, she is the other woman in that house. Later, tries to sell the house which is not even hers....for me, this was not funny. She manipulates the ML by lying that she had lost her job so not to kick her out . By now, she was aware of ML's feelings and he was in her grip. So, she fully played him and even now..... Not even a moment i felt that she is trying to help him.....She knows he has insomnia yet she comes home late or doesn't come at all and audacity to tell him to sleep well when she is in continuous danger and part of his stress.

What boils my blood is Miao Jing telling Chen Yi to call the cops and the next moment telling him that she can take care of herselt....lol.....the contradictory lines our FL delivers with that smug face is slap worthy.......In another scene she tells him not to cross the line and the very moment kisses him without his consent and crosses the line herself...... I have never seen a more dumb FL with overflowing confidence and does stupid things

Didn't he say the same thing to her to not to investigate Zhang Bin and did she listen??? She told him not to cross the line....so i guess, they both don't listen to each other....so if you have to blame then blame both of them

Siblings don't kiss each other...so i guess, these two are something else...

What else is there to plan....she is investigating zhang bin as part of her job and also for her personal agenda to "help" chen yi but it is nowhere helping him rather than putting him in a difficult spot

Exactly, didn't she say she has come back for him...not one moment it felt like she has come back for him or she is helping him in any sort....infact its the opposite. She has added more stress in his life and probably he will put his life on line to save her.....yet, she will be ungrateful

I feel like she is flirting with her ex in the morning and she is flirting with Chen Yi in the night.....sorry if it sounds vulgar, but that's what she is doing......she kisses Chen Yi and the very next moment goes directly to her ex to flirt with him and she is doing this intentionally.

Someone sensible spotted.....👏.......I kept arguing that she is his stress......in the past, as well as now..... But people kept coming at me saying, nobody forced him, she is his home bla bla bla.........I don't know how people can be selectively blind....She knows he has insomnia, has trauma, visits doctors....yet, still does jumps into the danger without thinking twice, comes home late or doesn't come at all....then how is he supposed to sleep at all.....ofcource he will have insomnia along with BP etc......

The same Miao Jing asked Chen Yi, if they are dating then why live in different bedrooms, so he said, their relationship is not what she thinks it is

Would chen yi's life be any better if the FL was not there - NO.... would chen yi's life change after the FL came into his life.- NO....infact it messed up even more than it was before.....infact, he got involved with wrong people knowingly because he had no option and no other way to earn money to support the FL...Chen yi infact was in a better position, which is had a house at least in his name when his dad passed away... But, after FL's mom came into their lives, the mom cunningly mortgaged the house , took the money and fled and that burden also fell onto him

Mind you, he was just 18 at that time, school drop out.... If FL wasn't there in his life, yes, he would have still missed the police entrance exam...at least, he wouldn't have gotten involved with wrong people because chen yo from a young age knew right vs wrong. I don't know about what comfort you are talking about when the FL and her mom only added misery to his life

Then will you say the same for FL's mother, it was her decision to leave her daughter behind with so much debt so its fine...... She made that choice so its fine so FL had to bear the consequences...... Just because someone is making the sacrifice doesn't mean the other party can take advantage of it.....its pure selfishness

Thank you....atleast someone is sensible here unlike those teenage toxic commenters who just attack for no reason at all.....From the beginning i had this problem with this FL, i feel a relationship is imbalanced where the guy is giving his all and the girl just takes it and vice versa. Even now when she is back, she is being smug about something and people are calling it as sassy...she is educated today, have a job because ML literally gave his life to earn that money.....commonnn........ She broke into her fling's house, manipulated him in thinking she had lost a job, trying to act strong but needs ML help in every corner.....looks like she will continue to be pain in his butt by trying to investigate corrupt and powerful people and leaving all the mess for ML to handle....He knows to what extend they can go to cover their backs ....... She is the reason for his stress.
