My thoughts about the show after completing it. It was very well executed but i felt the main character Gi Hun was very bland. I guess the writer/director wanted to show that there is still humanity left even if your poor or something. Initially i was fine with it but as and when the show progressed and Gi hun was like if i don't kill any of the contestants myself then I am still a good person. I was like it doesn't work that way. Infact he had a chance , or everybody in the game had a chance of not returning to the game after they saw what happened to others in the 1st game. They all thought anyway outside world is as cruel as inside the game and they didn't see any difference and they all willingly returned including the so called self righteous Gi Hun. I am not telling whatever the rich people did was correct but they didn't bullshit saying we are here for charity or something. Till last but one game gi hun was like i want to win because the other option is dying. But later when he went to meet the old guy he was like "why i got live when the others are dead". I was like dude, then you should have let other people win because they were much more desperate including Sang woo. This character was so confused i mean " he didn't want to kill, but he wanted to win also". When kang sae byeok was injured and he was at the entrance banging the door for help and at the same time sang woo killed her. Gi hun was like why did you kill her, they would have treated her. I mean they gave you 3 knives for a reason so they wouldn't have saved her. Also, was he dumb or what, he has seen how things worked there, when did the organizers help any contestants. I mean gi hun was very frustratingly confused character. The rules of the games were explained fair and square and also he had come out and saw himself how difficult it was outside even earn 10,000 won, so now he is screaming saying why did they do it etc etc.

That is fine but front man or in ho looked like a very careful man then why didn't he take care of the outside business properly. I mean, his brother is a cop and he would definitely look for him if he goes missing for a few days without informing his family. I kinda agree with you (when i saw in the end, the police was shot and went under the water and i was like what was all that for i mean collecting evidences etc, for sure he will be alive) but as we saw this thing has been going on since 1988, so imagine how many of them had died. They should be accountable. That grandpa (001), i mean i was kinda expecting him to be not so good (If you have seen the show 365 days, in that also an old man would be the ring leader, so i somehow guessed he was not a regular contestant) anyway, he was there with the contestants still he enjoyed every bit of it like people dying or killing each other (so these people get pleasure out of poor / less privileged people's situation). I mean i don't want to be a moral police here but i think they enjoyed it for 32 years so its high time for them to pay prices for people's lives.

Because it's a 30 episode drama, ex is getting more screentime, god! It's so annoying. Or else this ex bullshit would have got over in some 3-4 episodes. Now it looks like ex is there in some 11-12 episodes ( she came in ep 10 and from preview of ep 22, looks like she is very much around)

I have seen till ep 10 but when I saw the ending trailer and got to know that sister is going to end up with this loud boy, I don't know what happened but I dropped it. I was really enjoying the show but that pairing was a deal breaker for me. I understand the sister that she didn't see her friend more than a friend but that doesn't mean a smart girl like her would choose someone whom she know nothing about , also she financial helped him would end up with him. It didn't make sense. She was emotionally down but she isn't a teenager who would fall for a guy who gave her shoulder when she was down.

So ZSC is a chemistry professor who now owns 90% of the family business and also wants to invest in domestic manufacturing industry. Family dynamics of Zhou Sheng Chen is so complicated. They love somebody and married to someone else. Wow!!! Really complicated. According to me ML's mother is not even his real mom, I don't know why they give her so much importance. Everything belongs to Zhou Sheng Chen as he the 1st born guy in the family. I wish he was bit more assertive and don't let others walk all over him , who are not even his real family. He should just take control and show everyone their places.
