Cheng household has totally taken a backseat (I kinda miss it, but now the story has gone a level higher). Somehow growing up parentless since childhood and mistreatment from the aunt and grandmother has made CSS very strong. She knows how to survive, how to avenge, how to raise ...basically she knows her game. Her hard childhood somehow made her strong as if she is fated to get married to someone in the Palace. As it is evident that surviving in the palace is no joke and worked out for her, as palace is going to be her forever husband's home.

I mean even now , men can sleep around and no would say anything but if a woman does the same thing then she will automatically become a wh**e.....I can only imagine how it was back then for a woman to openly do it. Then how did her mom, the empress and the emperor react to that? Or they just left her on her own saying she is a lost cost

I feel bad for the empress for having such useless kids, i guess her worries are never ending. Even Consort Yue's children are no less but atleast few of her kids turned out good like the 2nd princess and the 3rd prince.
BTW question to the novel readers----- What is 5th princess's take? I mean men around her, what does she do with them? sorry for my language but does she sleep with them, take care of them lavishly just like how fifth prince sleeps around with many women?

Actually it didn't make the ML look good either according to me, like you said he is still being consistent. He tried to tell her not to interfere but knowing her, he was one step ahead of her to protect just like how he was since the beginning. But what is bothering me is, how it went from this to as nothing happened by the end of ep 33. They totally forgot how she ruined his uncle's memorial. He didn't even talk to her properly. Loving is different, this is pure selfishness. She should have atleast properly apologized to him. She is flipping her emotions for him way too many times. They were all fine when they were star gazing or when he kissed her forehead and the next day she went back to being that stubborn brat who just won't listen to him and will put everyone else above him....this character of her was too inconsistent

He he he he he.......lol.....I don't know how they are going to redeem this character. Love from such character feels so toxic.

Very well put. That is what most of us are wondering how did she become such a dumb character, who is committing one mistake after another thinking she is doing to save the empress. I mean, i don't know from when do royal family needed help from common people. For instance, when the 3rd princess got caught for circulating counterfeit coins, she was just flogged i think , that's it. If CSS gets caught for forging the seal, nothing will happen to the cP nor his wife but she and her family will be in great trouble. Does this need LBY 's interference or him educating her, no...its mere common sense which she is lacking all of sudden. It feels as if CSS has changed overnight.

I hope she doesn't get involved in the love affair of the crown prince which is going to come in the future episodes. Knowing her nature, for sure she is going to as she "considers" crown princess her friend/well-wisher....

Let me ask you, then why did the king give it to him if it is of no importance? Or if it is just a show piece. If forging is fine then is it allowed for anyone to do it because according to you it doesn't hold any significance

It's not being harsh. He has told her several times and how clearly should he tell her that this is a serious issue yet she went ahead with forging. If he stopped her forcefully then he is wrong, if he gives her little information then also it's his mistake so there is no winning against her. It's his fate for loving her at this point of time.

Are you kidding me.....do you even hear yourself......this is not some family affair which involves CP and his wife, it's a state affair which involves deployment of thousands of soldiers on behalf of CP to die for him while rescuing his cousin. The size of the mistakes committed by CSS every single day is growing in size. She did forgery this time that too with military seals. How is this any different from 3rd princess circulating fake coins. Atleast fake coins didn't harm anyone, she was making money with it...here, the lives of the soldiers are in line.
By the end of ep 33, writer made it look like everything is good under the hood but she hasn't apologized to LBY yet, not once. I guess because of this, LBY will get flogged instead of her.

How clearly should he communicate with her by saying not to get involved. He has already told her 4-5 times. If this isn't communication then what is? We cannot use this everytime to just let her pass. Every passing day she is commiting bigger mistakes than yesterday in the name of protecting her loved ones. Forging a military seal, I mean....it's a treason. It's as good as 3rd princess circulating fake coins.

IKR....She just cannot keep quiet. At this point, i really want to see her get betrayed big time by the crown princess. How many times a man can tell her to just stay out of trouble. If he tells in a good way then there is a problem, if he raises his voice then also there is a problem. I am, why cannot she just stay still for a moment and not to get involved in these things and they are really big issues.

I thought she will consider about his thoughts and feeling more after he kissed her forehead but the next day she went back being the old CSS who accuses LBY for all her faults.

Lol....yeah!! Thank God the consort doesn't play favorites between her children and the queen's. It was nice to know that all of them(the king, queen and the consort) saw what CSS did to the 3rd princess and yet turned a blind eye..... that's how much they love LBY

I hope so too, after next week 's preview, she will know the consequences of her actions. Obviously she won't change if she was punished ( her mom has already tried it with the military spanking) so it had to be either LBY or her family
