Exactly right..... I can even tolerate her with LY, atleast that guy was sweet but not this Yuan Shen...I don't know how i am going to tolerate him in Part 2 and he will be there till the end to irritate both CSS and the audience.
Wives of the Emperor are so different in personalities. Empress is so soft and the consort Yue is straightforward. But the emperor is the key here, such a delight to watch this character. His concerns are so fatherly regarding LBY. On the other hand, Yuan Shanjian is such a confused character. He doesn't want him to fall for CSS and also he doesn't want CSS to date/ like anyone. Such a selfish person. He doesn't have any relationship with CSS now, yet he restricts her from seeing LBY. I can only imagine what and all he might do after he gets engaged with CSS. I don't know if this character will have any development or no but he thinks he is above all and knows all, so he is not going to listen to anyone in order to learn.
Whenever I see the FL, I get reminded of this stereotype "women are not good at anything", I know she is just a character but again..... This woman / FL's character is so badly written that she reminds of that stereotype

She bet....she is x1000000 times more badass than CSS now. She just beheaded her husband. Those ladies will pee in their undies now. I wish they show that and not leave this in the halfway as CSS is no longer involved in their lives
I am loving this badass version of He Zhou Jun. Death in a family will change you as a person and this person has seen her entire family get murdered infront of her eyes, i guess she doesn't have to pretend anymore to be noble or well behaved daughter (she was more of pampered) . The scene where she personally beheaded her husband shows how much she has grown and she is no longer a daddy's princess. She did acknowledge that LY has grown up and i hope she doesn't bully him anymore. I hope she shows those bitches from chamber 1 their place and shut their bitching mouth off.

But the sad part is she was more like a big sister to LY who just wanted to protect him from getting bullied. She was more like a sister than a girlfriend / fiance.... Even in today's episode she was more sad because LY has to marry someone he doesn't like. She was more worried for him than look at her own problems.
