I hope lots of people will watch and support this series unlike what happened to Reverse 4 You... Idk if it was just GL fans being shallow and not interested in the actress who was the love interest or smth? But it was easily one of the best-made Thai GL series that came out in 2024 (even though it would have been better if it had more episodes).
i lowkey feel like the only one super pumped about this (and wanting to be optimistic). ive seen people not want…
I'm excited for Emi and Bonnie, who I think have great chemistry and seem like strong actors. I also enjoy the cinematography we see in the trailer. However, I'm concerned about the writing; Pluto was truly a miracle when you think about how much the screenwriters were able to improve and expand on a pretty simple Chao Planoy novel. But I'm not sure if the screenwriters who adapted 23.5 have the same abilities to improve a (problematic) Chao Planoy novel as the screenwriters of Pluto. But I'm being cautiously optimistic that it could turn out great since their last series showed a big improvement.
I hope they learn how to kiss because kissing scenes in "My marvelous dream is you" was a disaster. The worst…
That was almost certainly the director's fault. Women do not kiss like that, that's the way women kiss when a male director influenced them(the style was like lesbian Japanese porn).
Hmmm the trailer was good, but something's off with the color grading. It looked better in the pilot. I think…
The trainee had too strong colors; it was actually distracting, in my opinion. Based on the small clips I checked out rn of the other series you mentioned, I like the way Summer Night and Thamepo look, but the other ones, in my opinion, have overused color grading and look kind of tacky.
I prefer the natural look of this trailer by comparison. If you watch it again and compare it with the pilot, there are several scenes where the color grading is similar to the pilot, and even in the pilot there was a scene when they were outside where the colors were more cool and muted.
I do, however, agree in the sense that the pilot looked more cinematic than the trailer. But that has more to do with the shot composition and style of shooting. In the pilot they shot it more like an indie movie by using hand-held camera or steadicam; they also showed wider shots more often. In the trailer, the shots look more televisual because the shots are mostly still, and there are more close-ups of characters with the background blurred; this makes the trailer look less cinematic. It still looks really good; it just doesn't quite have that indie movie vibe anymore.
🤮What a bunch of absolute nonsense. You sound like some creepy man making excuses for why it is ok for grown…
First of all, my point is that there should not be this big of an age gap; even if she was 18, she should not be paired with someone over 25. As far as brain development, if you stay up-to-date on the latest research, nothing has actually been conclusive, it seems like most of it can be attributed to social conditions in general. So for now, it seems safe to assume that full maturity is most likely somewhere around 25 for both females and males. But again, nothing is certain yet, what is however, is that a 17 year old girl is not fully developed.
I can see why girls can appear to mature faster than boys due to social pressure. At least they used to, in the past, when it was common for young girls to marry older men, they'd had to assume the role of a housewife or mother really early. The patriarchy itself puts women in a position where they have to mature early to avoid social, psychological, and physical abuse. As women's rights develop, I think we should see less of a difference in this supposed "maturity age gap".
This "old" mindset that girls develop faster than boys is so often used as an excuse. The reality is that big age gaps, especially when the girl is not fully developed (and is in a completely different place in life) than the 25+ year-old man, leads to a big imbalance in the relationship and will often turn abusive.
To the commentators who think she's "too young:"The age of consent in thailand is 15, so there's no law being…

Just because a country has not changed their law yet does not mean that it is morally correct or in the best interest of the people. What you wrote is just plain wrong, period. Sensible people in countries where the age of consent is less than 18-21 still understand that a relationship between someone who is still developing and someone who is fully grown is dangerous in multiple ways.
Pairing a 17-year-old girl with grown men who are near 30 is wrong no matter how you try to frame it. The brain has not even fully developed before the age of 25. Do you not understand anything about the dangers of an unequal power dynamic?? Also, I grew up in Korea; all women with a functioning brain (who take the time to actually educate themselves on important subjects that their school won't) understand this; not just people from the "west".

Also, you wrote "gets deeply influenced by him and has second thoughts about her feelings." what GL has that ever happened?
