how come no one talks about this? I like the first 2 episodes. The production value is on par with Japanese movies but you need to watch it with an open mind since it's set in 70s. Some of today's moral standards are still incomprehensible back then.
Justice for Ritsu! I watched it initially for Mayu & Hayate pairing, but the story is so pointless. The characters are barely likeable too. And why did they make Ritsu suffer so much? I love Mayu, she's good & a leading actress material but tbh her drama choice is a bit off. I hope her next ones will be better.
I cried at the ending, glad they find their own path. And omg the scene when they showed Lion's backside when he's going to school with his bigger-than-his-body randoseru, I shed tears. My kid grew up so fast. I hope Hiroto & his family can meet quite often, Ibaraki & Tokyo aren't that far, right?
True. I could stare at her all the time, as sb here described her ugly, I couldnāt believe my eyes
here some kdrama fans say she's not that pretty too. But well, in my country being super pale with long & luminous hair is considered pretty & HSH fits the criteria. Not to mention the filter they use in the japanese version sometimes makes the actor's complexion look a bit darker.
Welcome to the Jdorama world budget-free upgraded version.
international streaming platforms really do wonders for j-ent industry. I just hope they keep jdramas' uniqueness and never force it to fit international/western standards.

I love how the last episode captures the essence of the series immaculately.
It feels like a long MV of a love song.
Pls netflix don't ruin it!

Btw idk if it's just me but I think he looks like Yokohama Ryusei a bit.

just found out some of his works are available outside Japan.
