I never noticed that the first time I watched it but I was also much younger. I got half way into the first ep and noticed and thought “did she always make such strange faces?” she isn’t ugly or unattractive but it is a little odd. I guess she just can’t do over the top expressions too well. 😆

Almost paradise! I haven’t watched this in like 10 years 😭 I just started the first episode and haven’t finished it. the bullying thing is kind of hard to watch…more than I remember.

I have the same Doraemon hoodie Jan di has. I had to find it when I saw it on the drama and for some reason I actually lucked out and found the exact one in my size.

edit: couldn’t even finish first episode after having to go back to it. I don’t remember it being this hard to watch. the inherent sociopathy of the wealthy is so cringe but not shocking 🤣 sunny ginger and Miranda are still THE worst characters ever. Mean girls characters are the worst and I wish they didn’t exist 🤣

random find when I was looking to download Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. I have heard of Kamen Rider many times over the years of being into Japanese culture…I think I have a new favorite super hero 😆

I never thought I would get into any sentai series, but this one is really good and funny. all because I saw a meme video “it’s Friday(fine day) in California” 😂

fun fact about this movie. A tamagotchi was collaborated and sold in theatres while this movie was being shown. it’s called Genjintch

where to watch? Mamoru is one of my favorite characters besides Ukyou from aibou. would love to see it. edit: it’s on bilibili but no English subs!

looking forward to this series, I really like Yutaka Mizutani too so I feel like this will be great. liked the first 3 episodes so far. EP5 has me locked in and now I am sad that I can’t find all the subs for the entire series 🤣

I think this was the first Asian film I have ever watched. I was just a teenager, I’ll never forget the shower scene where he punched the fat guy 😂

definitely some crazy unhinged stuff. I also completely loved the fact that all the songs were from Godiego’s first studio album. it’s another movie I got because of the music, but also Yutaka Mizutani.

I am only on episode 3 but I really like this so far and l am definitely wondering how it turns out. no matter what, nothing can convince me Masaaki Sakai is the age he is in this. he looks so youthful and fun!

I initially became interested because I’m a really big fan of the music composer/performers of the soundtrack of the series. I actually really like this show lol Though I know Tripitaka is male, I often forget 🤣
