I really don’t know how to put it
as soon as I heard that this movie had music from a band I like I immediately grabbed it, like a lot of the stuff I’ve been watching. I have had it for a while but initially put it off when I read there were some nude scenes, I find that and sexual scenes uncomfortable and useless in media 99% of the time, but they were actually not as bad as I was expecting. they just went on a little longer than needed but not too long. I really like this type of movie, where the character slowly loses it. I felt uncomfortable, shocked and disgusted, not disgusted and I even cried at the scene about the ice cream story with the father. at that point I’m like WHY IS THIS MOVIE MAKING ME CRY?! it was really a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I am not sure if I would recommend this to somebody personally, but I really enjoyed it for what it was.Was this review helpful to you?

I am a bit of a fan of psychological horror and liminal spaces…so i felt like this would be something I’d enjoy. it got to the point rather quickly, which I really liked a lot…I heard that it was based on a game and wondered how they would do it being a 90 minute film but that didn’t seem to be an issue. By the time he noticed he was in a loop, i knew I’d start loving it…once he ran into the walking man and he was just smiling, i was hooked. some people were saying it’s an anti abortion film but I didn’t get that at all. that seems straw grasping to me and looking for something that doesn’t really exist.🤷♀️Was this review helpful to you?
I really enjoyed it
I just finished it yesterday, I was not expecting the ending I was hoping for. I cried a few times, I laughed, and genuinely enjoyed this drama. Ritsuko’s weird boyfriend always made his scenes enjoyable to watch. a lot of the characters were likable though one of them was particularly annoying even though he was really cute…kind of lame, also kind of not. but cute. I think the actor for Kikuhara may be one of the most handsome actors I’ve seen in a long time. lol Muri Na Renai was a fun and wonderful watch.Was this review helpful to you?
