It's Esom in Taxi Driver 2 all over again. "Scheduling conflicts". If she wanted to appear she would have.
I'm also not buying scheduling conflict thing because season 2 was announced long ago before her new projects. Flex X Cop was her first project as female lead and I think now after getting so many projects her fee would've increased way more then season 1.
And this is why (1) if you have mommy or daddy (or any). issues you should go to therapy instead of dumping your trauma on others, (2) society should stop obsessing over parenthood/motherhood and blood and stop normalizing the abuse that this mentally has caused on kids and women mainly, (3) and people should stop pretending women aren't people and that giving birth automatically makes you a mom/being maternal is natural.
I honestly enjoyed this drama. The concept and the writer's story telling. I have so much to say and it's in a good way. I really don't know how others watch dramas or what their expectations are. But it's believable in so many ways and trys to touch lots or topics. Love to see more of the MLs in other dramas.
You’d watch this if you like stories that take their time and let you really know the people in them. If you want something warm, steady, and quietly rewarding, this one’s worth your hours.
I think the Hong Kong flashbacks were giving us false expectations, that this would focus on the romance between Lee Jong Suk and Mun Ka Young. But it turns out we have 5 main characters and that the main plot concerns how they perhaps make new choices in their lives as lawyers. And on law cases that are challenging to them and require them take moral stands, that are not "business-as-usual" cases.
In hindsight, the Hong Kong scenes were unnecessary. I'm perfectly okay with there being 5 main characters, all sympathetic. Ha Sang Gi became my favorite character.
As regards the eating scenes, I think they could have been longer and have more extended discussions and dialogues. Now they show us them giving just one sentence descriptions of their cases, mostly. When they could have had more sessions like the one in which Chang Won and Sang Gi opened up to each other about their situations.
Anyway, I really liked the show.

I loved Lee Jong Suk's acting in this.
i don't wanna say goodbye:(
