The casting director really went all out and got the best talents he could find. I can’t say enough about our main leads but the whole supporting cast has been fantastic with stellar performances. They really showed up for work. Li Meng, take a well deserved bow and I hope you truly get an award for your beautiful work in this drama 👏👏

when you have the ML from Love Scout, and the poison specialist from A Bona Fide Kill made this more intriguing

This drama is funny b/c it wants to save every woman from their difficult situation EXCEPT the FL. They want her to fall in love with her abuser and excuse him of all his despicable ways even though he's fundamentally no different from the other men in the series - just seems that way b/c he "loves" her even though she never asked for or wanted any of that "love".

I really like Ji er's character development over the episodes. Very well done. Kudos to the actress!

ji er 's story moved me. The actress playing her made me care for Ji'er.

Shout out to actress Liu Mei Han, who plays Ji Er. Her interpretation on ep 31 is superb, she can cry with a nervous breakdown, be desperate but refuse to give up, get simultaneously overwhelmed by emotion and sheer happiness, be hellbent in her determination and act so naturally one has no choice but to believe her.

I went back and rewatched several of her scenes, particularly the farewell with the presents. Great actress, she deserves more prominent roles.
