Yes, that slap will be well deserved because Jang Mi has not really accomplished much, and she needs to wake up because she was about to get herself killed instead of being able to use her marriage to Jun Ho for anything close to revenge. She could have been building a case against Hwa Yeong by leaking a little information at a time. She knows enough to have Hwa Yeong constantly wasting time responding to crises while she and Baek Ho hunt for Seo Rin. No one would have to know she was the source if she at least made an effort.

It does seem like Jang Mi revenge is against Baek Ho, because he and his mom are the only ones hurt by Jang Mi's actions.

I believe so. Jang Mi pulls the "I am pregnant " card, or they switch, and Seo Rin marries Jun Ho. Something really dumb has to happen either way because Hwa Yeong has to get away with her BS a while longer.

You have to see it for yourself. They showed some more of her past conduct as well as her in the present day berating Eun Ae for what her brother is going through. The sister-in-law does seem to think Eun Ae sent the money. Mom doesn't seem to know that the money was sent.

I wonder if something behind the scenes we don't know about, and the network does not want to reveal, is the actual cause of the need to add the extra 20 episodes. Maybe something happened with the drama that is supposed to follow this one, resulting in a schedule change.

While I don't hate this drama, it certainly has not lived up to its initial potential. I find it hard to believe it is so popular that advertisers and viewers are clamoring for more.

Oh for sure the chairman will be sidelined very soon. Hwa Yeong might even hide him away so she can keep up her evil.

Also, those Chaebol families that run practically everything are why there is such a lack of jobs and other opportunities. The government doesn't want to break them up and have ceded too much power to them.

Eun Bin comes off as more emotionally mature than most of the adults in this drama. I think Se Ri is about to face her wrath.

These storylines still play well with South Korean audiences, so I guess that's why we constantly see repeats of the same themes in these dramas.

The younger generation is moving away from these types of archaic ways. Even the younger Chaebols are no longer down with transactional marriages. The government is now encouraging marriages, no matter how they come about, due to the low birth rate.

Respect for elders, marriage as a "union of families" rather than just two individuals and no experience in setting boundaries.
