I think the last 5 or 6 dramas I have watched and were produced in 24/25 have had one in some form or another.

The slush fund books are what keeps the lawyer employed for now. But the Chairman keeps people quiet with murder. The lawyer is so arrogant I see him trying to blackmail the Chairman at some point.

I am with you all on the love triangle trope. The ones that really get me out of a drama are the "I liked you for 15 years, but never said anything." Now that you have a relationship with someone else, I am going to spend 17 episodes sabotaging it. And just for fun, all my antics have nothing to do with anything except my obsession with you.

What will be the annoying ass lawyer's fate? He knows too much for the Chairman to leave alive.

Eun Oh, to me, when it comes to JH, was not able to separate her personal feelings from what should be her business sense. Even without her family trouble and despite her romantic feelings for JH, she should have thought it his offer through as a strictly good business decision or not. Instead, it seemed she tried to reject him in the same way he did her when it came to them dating. But it's two completely different situations, and it backfired on her. To me, it shows some emotional immaturity on her part, and she didn't even recognize how childish she was being.

I wish he had suspended Kyung Chae indefinitely instead of demoting her immediately and allowing her back in the company. Made her stay home, let Lucia prove herself in the CEO position, so that there is no way the board would go against her. Later, tell Kyung Chae that if she wants to come back to the company, it will be at an entry-level position or nothing at all.

But it is what it is, and I am sure Kyung Chae will fail at her sabotage efforts.

I guess it depends on what you are willing to invest in. It's not terrible for sure. But, I am just not that invested in personally. I like the MLs from other dramas. Not so much the FL although I don't hate her.

Glad to see Han Ki Woong in this. He is so good at playing characters who make you want to leap through the screen and punch them in the face. Second Husband is one where he shines as a piece of crap.

No she hasn't and the despicable family has been up to their dirty deeds for over 20 years now. They didn't just start murdering and ruining others lives when Mi So came in contact with them.

Well, I am on episode 65 and he still with almost no effort other than walking around the halls of the building, finding out information. It just falls from ceiling into his lap. It so unrealistic and overused in so many revenge dramas as a so-called plot device it makes me want to scream. I am not saying he should not find out information but he should at least be shown as having to put in some effort into finding it out.

Meanwhile the other team has to depend on luck and actually piecing together clues like it should be in a drama involving strategy and deception. The writing is so lopsided when it comes to this it is almost embarrassing to watch.

Why do you think it isn't? I know from some of the comments that some are not comfortable now that she has gotten down in the dirt with them.

We are going to have to watch this guy get away with any and everything until the last part of the last episode.

The lawyer pops up every 5 seconds in front of the FL in this drama. He just emerges from doors, the walls, thin air.
