HEART OF STONE is the Chinese version of the Thai drama HUA JAI SILA.
The main characters in HJS and the plot was definitely worth watching.

similarities:
both have a good balance of comedy and drama
plot twists and schemes
both MC are intelligent (in SOKP the FL went back in time and in JOL the ML have modern world knowledge)
power struggle between a lot of factors
differentials:
SOKP have more romance while in JOL it's more about ML dealing with schemes and stuff

-they're not that similar but in my opinion if you like one you will like the other

same actress FL.
Historical drama about a family business, also involvement of the family with the royal family.

similarities:
both FL are a general's daughter who is smart and charming.
both FL fall in love with the son/adopted son(in LLTG) of the emperor.
in both the ML seeking the truth about their dead family.
in both the emperor is really smart and have full trust in the ML and later in the FL and also want them to be together.

in both:
it starts at the present but then goes to university.
the SML and the couple start as friends but then the SML turns bad and then regrets it.
in both they are together in university but then get separated.
the ML FML and SML are top of their class
also in both the main couple deal in the future with problems from the past
and of course the happy ending (:
(Also both of the ML's first name is Xun)
differences:
in LG she goes back to uni in a dream while in LP it's memories
in LG the ML and SML are in love with the FML but in LP the SML is in love with someone else

all in all it was pretty similar but I cried a lot in LP (but I also like LP a bit more)
