Review Gold Land Spoiler
yess to everything but what I really thought made no sense was that last part you mentioned! they could have left…
Yeah that wouldn't work. The chairman wouldn't have released her without the bars being present. That would make no sense to release someone on the claim that the bars are at a specified location, because Heeju can just run away now with the bars after sending the Chairman to a false location. That would've made for the dumbest plot point of the entire drama.

I mean....I havent ever watched reality TV ever. and I find this so exaggerated. I'm here after perfect crown…
This is actually how K-Variety shows tend to be. The main host is a comedian right? That's one of the things he's known for. Totally understandable if you don't like it though, I would suggest to not watch any further since the exaggerated behavior is likely not going to change.

Fresh off of watching Perfect Crown, BWS is a really emotional dude huh? I saw the interview where he was talking about how he's very empathetic towards others since he was raised with a lot of love by his family and that they still treat him like a child and give him kisses and hugs when he visits home. I can see why that scene in episode 1 or 2(if I recall correctly) on day 1 where he was washing the dishes and one of the "three beauties" that was part of his newly formed team told him about wanting to have a beautiful time and he literally was about to start crying because of how emotional that conversation made him. He kept blinking so he wouldn't cry and you can hear his voice shaking when he spoke, I noticed it funny enough because that's exactly what I do to make sure I don't cry in front of people. Byeon Woo Seok, that's my boy 👑

Title Sold Out on You Spoiler
I was planning to watch it believing it was a good drama, but from the looks of it, it's nothing more than another…
Surprisingly very weak love triangle, not nearly as big as the trailer makes it out to be. If the love triangle is your only concern then you can easily watch this, I would say it's basically irrelevant once the story starts to kick in.

I'm surprised, I think BWS acting was immaculate. Regal and stoic, exactly what I'd expect from a high ranking member of the Royal family.

That's how you cover up things, you get a guy who has no family or relatives to do it and then you kill them after the job is done. This is a very common plot trope that stories have, I understand if you don't like that they did this but it's not really a surprise that the mechanic that tampered with the car is dead.

How do episodes that haven't even aired have ratings? People really taking time to go in and pre-rate episodes…
I don't understand how people rate a drama after the first episode. I was watching Perfect Crown and there was already reviews giving it less than 3 stars within the first week of airing. The reviews even said 12 of 12 episodes seen, they really need to lock reviews and ratings until a show is done airing. I don't rate anything until I've finished watching it or I might rate it if I end up dropping the show either way I agree people have lost the plot. I'm using the app so you can't actually rate individual episodes, only the entire show itself.

I totally agree 😭 the soundtrack for this drama is so beautiful. I think one reason is because they brought…
I actually think "In your Orbit" by Im Joongwon was the most beautiful track in the OST for the drama and he's definitely not known at all. They always played it for the most emotionally charged scenes, I remember trying to find it the first time it was used but at the time it wasn't listed anywhere. This is the only song he has on his Spotify artist page, so he's a newcomer and delivered a gem. I hope he can make tracks like this cause then it'll only become a matter of time till he joins elite company. Whoever was in charge of bringing about the OST really hit it out of the park. Man, I'm honestly at a loss, beautiful 🥹❄️

I've never liked this many tracks from the OST of a Kdrama before. Usually there is one that I might like and maybe two or three in exceptional cases but this OST is hugging my ears. Some of the tracks are soo good, I can see the scene in my mind when I listen to them and they're all different as well. This is the opposite experience, I probably dislike one or two tracks while the rest are phenomenal, might be the best I've heard
❄️👑

Yeah I'm gonna rewatch this drama a couple times, I was missing it before even finishing it. I usually want them to be shorter but this is probably the only time I wish it had 14 episodes instead of 12, had enough going for it do so but I know that production budget was already over well above the top.

Errmm so who “murdered” Ian’s Brother King Yi-Hwan? Queen? Queen’s dad?
He wasn't murdered, he died when the Queen burned the royal edict but that fire ended up spreading, it also seemed to the be the case that he didn't really make an effort to preserve his life since he definitely would've seen how the flames started but he just chose to stay in place. It's pretty clear as the story progresses that the Queen isn't capable of genuine evil, which is why she felt so much guilt over her father's actions.

She was a fan of the Grand Prince since the beginning, you don't remember the scene where she was lightly annoyed and confused as to how Huiju could say the Grand Prince looked gloomy? She literally said he was the most handsome man in the world. I personally didn't think she was a lesbian at all. She started to catch feeling for Choi Hyeon when he told her that story about him being an orphan found at the palace gates and she was surprised by how he framed it.

Title Perfect Crown Spoiler
I just remembered…what tf happened to the guy who sabotaged her car? Who was he? Who ordered it? Why did he…
it was the Queen's father that ordered that. Not explicitly stated but heavily implied when he had the conversation with the Queen in the same episode about how if someone wanted Huiju gone, it wouldn't even be difficult since a woman like Huiju has enemies everywhere. He quite literally was involved in every danger that the main leads were subject even if you didn't include the car tampering scene so it's safe to assume the conversation was the precursor for that attempt at killing Huiju with her car.

I genuinely don’t think I’ll forget the feeling this drama gave me. From beginning to end, Perfect Crown was such a beautiful experience – the kind of show that reminds you why you love dramas in the first place. The OST, the acting, the chemistry between the cast… everything came together so immaculately that every episode felt special.

It’s honestly a rare 10/10 for me, not because it was a perfect story, but because of how it just made me feel. I can’t remember the last time a drama made me this happy from watching it, it's such a simple thing but most fail to do that. I wish I could erase my memory and watch it all over again for the first time.

And that bus stop scene with Aide Choi and Do? Wrap it up. I’ve never seen supporting characters given a romance moment of that caliber before, the kind of scene even main leads wouldn't get in other dramas. It felt so genuine and thoughtful.

I loved the final episode, it was the perfect goodbye – warm, kind, and full of love for the characters and the viewers. I'm gonna miss this show deeply, but more than anything, I just feel grateful that I got the chance to experience it.

Perfect Crown, I can't give you enough flowers, thanks for all the joy. It has been an absolute pleasure 🥹👑

Ugh - the king- that kid must be so traumatized by his mom. The queen mother needs psychiatric care and institutionalization.…
Yeah I don't think the explosion at the end of episode 10 was caused by the Queen though.

I love him as an actor and was super glad to see him in Perfect Crown. However, I hate his characters most of the time and I knew he was gonna be a prick, but man he does a phenomenal job 🤣😭

I was actually going to say the same thing, but felt my comment would be excessive. I'm glad you noticed it as well. I think his acting has been perfect and the progression of his character throughout the series with him gradually breaking out of his royal prison ever since Huiju entered his life really shows how much of an impact she's had in the growth of Grand Prince Yi An.

I think his acting was fantastic. His role is the grand prince who's quite literally meant to be stoic and regal to maintain the royal decorum. His face being motionless is part of the role, even when he expresses himself he tries his best to keep it within limits which is actually what you'd expect from royalty. Just thinking about the character of Yi An and how he was raised as the one who walks behind and overlooked by his father, I think he did an outstanding job.

I'm rewatching the episodes waiting for the finale this weekend and I have to say Yoo Su Bin is hilarious with his role, he played it phenomenally. Just noticed all the extra expressions he pulled off to add personality to his character even when he wasn't in focus. Respect, this cast is immaculate, one of the few times where the casting felt like it fit perfectly. Everybody has been just chef's kiss 👑❄️
