Ci Sha is more strongly focused on movies, hence he's done more movie time than dramas. Grueling training and…
Adding to what you said, movie stars are often ranked higher than drama/tv stars. They also generally get paid more and considered serious/proper actors. This is also obtainable globally (US, EUROPE, AFRICA etc). This is why most drama stars once they pass idol stage/want to be taken more seriously, start trying to get into movies.
Also, movies have the more famous directors and serious producers.
Just watched the closing out snippet of this show, I was crying with each character they showed crying. The OST is also quite meaningful. Looking forward to going on a ride with this show.
The first 5 episodes were so good, humour, real life issues, and amazing acting.
Ok, managed to pick this up and got to Ep.13. WTF did the writer do to Zhou Mei’s character. Unbelievable! I’m pissed. This isn’t what I was expecting from her character whom they built to be independent and strong minded. Way to ruin a show.
Somehow, I can't seem to pick up this drama again. Stopped at Ep.7 and got distracted by other dramas and life while waiting for new episodes and then just didn't care enough to come back to it. Oh well ☹️.
It’s truly fascinating to watch the way love quietly blossoms in the heart of a man so feared and untouchable…
That was very pleasant to watch. You explained it so beautifully as well. The actor conveyed this emotion really good too. Surprisingly, I am enjoying watching him here. Watched him previously in Creation of the Gods.
I know some ppl having hard time to watch this coz the FL “supposedly” 15yo, but man, she doesn’t look 15…
People are judging the way things happened then with their modern day knowledge. I mean around the era in which this drama is taking place, girls were married off once they hit puberty/have their period. This was even applicable all over the world. I mean do they want them to say the girl is 20, which will be considered old for a lady in that era even. SMH!
Per the drama, CYY's 5th brother died very young, around 5-6 years old, hence, he naturally left without any heir.…
The ML was already undressed when the FL came in. The FL has been shown not to shy away from things. So, it is in character for her, I guess. All the same, the scene surprised me too.

She would not have done that in the open or with other people. There was only the trusted aides of her and the ML. Also, I think that scene was playing to the stereotype that women/girls' hands are more tender, especially when treating an injury.
Yep! Just complained of her character now (FL). It’s like the writers forgot how she killed and defeated all…
Nope. I listened to the Chinese and understood the conversation. Because initially he was beating her until she pulled a secret method and explained it to him that she can if she wants and needs to. She just doesn’t use the method often because she doesn’t like to kill.
