I give it to Koreans and K-dramas, they do know how to write romantic dramas most of the time. No wonder K-dramas are pretty popular.
I’m more of a C-drama person but once in a blue moon, I pick up a K-drama.

Oh, this is only 12 episodes. No wonder the wedding already happened.

This show was actually a good watch even with its flaws. The ending for the couple I can understand - the FL became an ambitious person and pursued self improvement. I guess it stuck to the title: "The Epoch of Miyu", it is really about the era of the FL.

MiYu was looking. Remember the scene at the Gynae she wanted to do a surgery to remove a small polyp but the doctor told her that was not an issue and she did not need to. That everything was fine.

I do blame her for not seeking solution together with her husband. That is, both of them getting tested. But seeing her character in that marriage (a doormat person), we understand why she blamed herself solely.

Yep, ahahhaha. She even looks fabulous running in 9cm plus heels around the city and never breaking her ankles or sweating, or either tiring out. C-dramas and their always flawless FLs who never look like what they are going through, just picture perfect 🙊

I can't believe the stupid Wei guy would actually let their family hotel fail, just so he can get a cut of money from outside buyers. Jeeeez! A total asshole.

It was quite suspicious when she claimed she was pregnant for him, meanwhile the FL was married to him for 10 years and no baby. But NieYue is so full of himself that he automatically thought it was Miyu's fault why they couldn't get pregnant all those years even when they were actively trying and she was even visiting an OBGYN.

It's the guilt of being a mistress. She couldn't believe Miyu refused to be miserable and actually thrived. Plus, she notices her NieYu actually loves MiYu more than her if not for the pregnancy.

This show is so good. A totally different vibe – I love it! Added bonus, real grown people story.

The dual sword can be changed to crescent moon, no? Even the FL had a sword initially, when she starts fighting and then uses crescent moon sword too. I think during the fight with that really powerful man that she later killed, I noticed this change. The FL kills with both a sword and crescent moon.

I know about what you just said. That's not what am asking. IN Ep. 9 there is a scene where one of the cultivators (a lady) who is hunting the FL with a drawing got poisoned in a tea house. The tea house lady uses a crescent moon too. This is the lady I am asking about (who is she?)

I am a bit confused now. The FL is the one that uses the crescent weapon too right? How is she at a tea house and then at the pil tasting too (Ep.8). I know the lady cultivator was hunting her. I am a bit confused. Wasn't the person using the crescent moon and sword the person who was ML's wife and was avenging him?

Qin Jun Jie (Jiang Cheng) and Zhao Xun (Qi Yan) have the best performance of this show. They were simply outstanding in their performance.

Kudos to the producers of this show, it didn’t disappoint at all and whatever conflict that existed was handled properly and sensibly.

I definitely recommend other C-dramas to emulate them in how to tie stories together.

Exactly! Most of the comments sounds like children or people who have not been in real actual relationships. Real deep love isn’t something you turn on and off like a tap. The SML and the FL had a love that felt so natural and easy. Look at the flashbacks of their relationship. With the ML, she’s more careful and not her relaxed self who is playful.
Memories and emotions that run that deep between FL and SML doesn’t just go away (too much history). Even when she thought he was bad, she was still burning for him secretly. Now imagine him being free and the whole perception of him being bad turned out to be a lie. It’s completely normal for her to behave that way.

I only hope the producers tie up the story and resolve everything properly. They better not take the easy way out and kill one of the characters or make one of them a villain.

No. People find comfort in people who care for them without necessarily loving them (I mean real love). It’s a childish opinion to think kissing and cuddling only happens between two people who are in love. It’s the trust she has for him that makes her seek comfort in his arms. You also have to realise that the FL is lonely too.
Additionally, people keep telling her to care for ML more, so she was also trying to give him a chance by letting go of SML. Now, SML is not what she thought and she’s conflicted.

I do believe if she eventually sorts out her emotions, she will realise who she loves intimately the most (she will always love the SML, they grew up as siblings).

You do know she was engaged to the SML and they were even living together. She loved him so much and from the flashbacks, her one and only intimate relationship before the ML.
Also, she never loved the ML and her response to him on questions of whether she liked him, has always been “ I trust you”.
Even before finding out that the reason she felt hurt my SML’s actions were a lie, she still loved him (earlier scenes where they crossed paths, you can feel the emotional tension). Now, it’s revealed SML is a hero, of course she feels very torn. All the love she has for SML that she suppressed due to perceived hurt can’t be held back by the hurt anymore.

Personally, I think she’s already also falling in love with her husband, the ML. She just doesn’t realise it yet. And that she may even love him now more than the SML.

To me, I think this is a realistic portrayal. If you’ve actually been in love, then you will know it’s not something you just stop. If SML stayed bad, it would have been easy for the FL to let go because she will have a reason to make her heart and head rationalise let go.

I’m currently suspicious of FL’s Shifu as being with the bad guys. Hopefully, I’m wrong.
