May I ask why you wrote that you rated it a 6, while the overall rating is 8.5? I agree with what you said, the drama disappointed me.

In a sea of 10-star reviews, I'm glad someone wrote my thoughts. What disgusts me most is that the public considers it a "masterpiece."

I totally agree, what a disappointment! Even if the message were (and it is very poorly conveyed) "keep fighting for your loved ones," it would be completely meaningless if ML no longer had a mother. If he had been a lonely boy without parents or a girlfriend, what guilt would they have played on? They needed to work on "living for themselves," not for those close to them.

Review Death's Game
I completely agree with your review. Did anyone happen to understand why such a brilliant guy, who was about to graduate with excellent grades and potential, couldn't find a stable job for seven years? The story and the protagonist seem to want to blame it on witnessing the man's death before the interview, and that's fine, but what about the rest? What kind of weak reasoning is that? Did I miss something?

Review Death's Game
Wise words! I watched the entire first season and an episode of season 2 (basically episode 5) in one sitting yesterday. I hate the script, but I'm watching until the end to see what they'll come up with for the finale. It's a shame because the cast is great.
I find it even more disgusting that some comments here on MDL continue to denigrate suicidal thoughts.

Review Death's Game
## 🗒️ AnswerYou can't say otherwise to what the series portrays. The series teaches people to fight and not…
@CositasLinda
I agree that suicide shouldn't be an option for anyone, but NOT when you write, "In the end, they're weak; they just cry without seeking help."
The spiral of mental illness/depression itself saps all your energy and desire because you see everything as black and hopeless, and you clearly feel weak and helpless, blaming yourself for not being able to REACT. If they were to find someone close to them who tells them the same words, what do you think the outcome would be?
You're paternalistically stating the obvious, describing everything a person would do if they "only" weren't depressed.
Certain words of reproach are simply disrespectful to those who suffer.
I believe such intense pain makes you selfish and leads you to choose such an extreme action just to feel nothing, without thinking at that moment about the pain you'll cause to those left behind. We should stop standing here judging something so atrocious (suicide) that we've obviously never experienced, since we're all here in front of a computer screen, breathing.

For those who have already given up on life, there is nothing that can be done, but for those who have these thoughts, we should show a little more empathy and stop pointing fingers at them and continuing to fuel the feelings of guilt and shame they are already feeling.

I had a family member (not a close relative) who committed suicide years ago, undergoing pharmacological and psychiatric treatment and having already been hospitalized for a previous attempt.

Am I the only one who thinks the poster is awful? It looks like amateur Photoshop, which makes me think of a low-quality production. In any case, the plot intrigues me, and I might give it a try.

Review Dark Hole
I agree with the overall opinion of your review, and while some questions will forever remain unanswered, I've tried to give my own interpretation to some. SPOILER ALERT -------------------------

For example, why the monster chose Dong Rim: the girl felt so much resentment and hateful desires due to the tragic and unjust death of her father... beyond that, I think it was "convenient" for the monster that she was "completely alone," without anyone nearby who could bring her back on the right path, as happened to the detective (when she was transforming, her deceased husband was there to bring her back, preventing her from falling deeper into the black hole). Instead, the girl was without a family and a victim of bullying, let's say an ideal guest to possess and reside with without being disturbed.
The other question about why the mutants die suddenly: once our protagonists (somewhat stupidly) defeat the monster in the chemical factory, it's normal for "the connection"—the greater force that guided the mutants—to no longer exist, a bit like they'd destroyed the motherboard that controlled everyone.

At least these were my thoughts. If anyone has any other hypotheses, I'd be happy to read them, because I finished watching yesterday and would have loved to know more! Overall, it was a drama I really enjoyed!

Review Beyond Evil

I totally agree!
Bromance where?
Best Screenplay Award, are we serious?
Seeing it after "Through the Darkness" and "Black Out" probably highlighted the drama's flaws even more.

Title Silent Love
The title is misleading:
the romance is lacking, with little screen time for the couple. There's no foundation for a love story, and it feels so forced. What a disappointment.

Review The Guilty
I quite like Sun Qian raw acting (her 1970s drama with Arthur Chen is hidden gem) but the Wei Da Xun acting was…
Ah ok , (1970 is on my next watch list) but I know Sun Qian and I like it! Thanks for reply, I'll watch this too.

Hi! Thanks for your review (I didn't read it in detail to avoid spoilers) but it seems to me that you appreciated it... can I ask you why you only gave it a 7 as a rating?

Not what I expected. I thought it would be a lighthearted drama with weirdness and mystery. Instead it was heavy…
