that definitely looked like a sad ending and maybe even a bad one. Haven't decided that part yet.
Apart from that only WSG remembers, it's a good ending in that the world is better without JY. He can still find WWY again.
For Jilu and ppl arguing they're dead and it's a dream/reincarnated, it's not because: 1. They opened their own exit in the spacetime rift. 2. LiJie still hears Jiling out there calling to him.
I have a lot of favorite scenes, but my top one I have to give to Lu Wuyi when she "undressed" in the hallway. It made me LOL, no wonder jiling loves her.

the JY going in closed our exit, that was why Li Jie was so sad, he thought JL will perish in the time rift forever, since they failed to keep it open.
But then it shows Jiling and Wuyi opening their own, so thats a good ending for them.
Did everyone die and happy ending was an illusion or did they rewind time? Even if they prevented the fragment…
To keep it short, the time rewind only erased LWY. But Jiling took her out anyway and they found an "exit" themselves.
Assume no LWY from 50 years ago, imagine the story as Chiwen intended, but Ji Ling kills himself due to loneliness without the intervention of doll LWY. This is after Yuan Wuhuo dies in the cave and gets consumed, so Li Jie still makes his way to Shilin Sect to be a demon hunter. Bai Ze and the other hunters are always actively seeking and destroying JY fragments while waiting for 10th dragon to come . WSG saved by his master would make it to Shilin, learn his destiny, get his powers back from the 4 demons, slay Chiwen dragon, be Dragon Deity. His best friend becomes commander. Since it's all gone as planned, no one dies.
For the love story. WSG remembers the real timeline, goes to find WWY to tell her.
For Jilu, is assume they made it out, either go a new reality or different time. Ji ling would have no more powers anymore, the ring is drained and he never had any of his own anyways. They live there in seclusion, the simple and happy life they always wanted. There's a script that says Ji ling remembers her and keep it simple in the way they meet again.

The time travel loop is the last 50 years to erase Lu Wuyi, so only she doesn't exist. If she didn't exist Ji Ling would've killed himself due to loneliness without the doll stopping him. So he's dead in the new timeline. He offed himself only after original Yuan Wuhuo went to the cave to die, so Li Jie is still born from the butterfly demon merging. He would wander to Shilin Sect due to the obsession. Likely Bai Ze would've taken him in and they would wait for WSG to help him gain all the demon powers and the Dragon power, but Li Jie isn't commander, just Demon Hunter, as Weasel is Commander since he is WSG best friend.
Based on enjoyment and viewer experience alone, it's 10/10 for me.
I went in without any care for the director or any of the actors. This drama made me care, and I wanted to see them all happy. So this is a win for me 👍👍👍
