This is a tragically beautiful story
This movie was everything I could hope for. I really don't want to spoil anything for people who want to watch it, but trust me, it isn't easy with how unique this story is.The plot of this movie was outstanding. It was a great representation of what it's like to be a teenager. It captured the beauty behind the special relationship and bond a student and teacher share. It showed what a beauty and pain love can be.
This brought me to tears. If you want to watch a beautiful movie, this is it.

THE ENDING WAS SO CONFUSING
I seriously fell in love with this drama while watching it. It had such a steamy plot and the acting was pretty great. It had all the cliches of a typical general/historical drama. It had the romance and the suspense and even the big fight scene where the enemy takes a small amount of leverage just to lose it all in the end. It was amazing. Even the character's plot development was great. The sister? She was a villain but turned good to save Tingyao and take revenge on the enemy after pretending to be crazy for most of the show. That was unexpected and amazing- I still can't believe how good it was overall.I have nothing to complain about other than the ending. It was so confusing and I'm still not sure what happened. Did Tianyi die or is he alive? They said Tingyao was his wife, so did they make their marriage official? What was that horrible ending? I'm still so angry about it. Pissed actually. Someone- please explain this to me. Maybe I missed something.
Anyways, it's still worth the watch. You'll be thinking about it forever. It's one of those dramas that will always stay with you because of how extraordinary it is. I just recommend skipping the ending.
