First, I wonder why the mother of the two children (who have been kidnapped by Helan Zhen and used against Xiao Qi in the bridge scene) was assassinated? I thought that due to the premature death of his mother and sister, he would be more considerate in killing innocent people?
My second question would be why it took so long to raise suspicion against Zitan? Who would benefit from killing both Zilong and Xiao Qi? It doesn't make sense to me. I think we are heading towards the last twist with the last 5 episodes. Let's see!

The police found his body and then went to his house and discovered the basement where he killed his victims.
So I guess no one questioned why by killing himself, he would expose himself like that. Given that he doesn't know remorse and guilt.
At one moment while watching the drama, I thought that someone used DMS as a scapegoat and that he wasn't a serial murderer. I kept thinking that they needed someone to blame. Because Do Hyun Su couldn't feel emotions, it just further convinced the village that murder runs in the family.
This reminds me of one poignant moment in the drama. When Ji Won overheard the discussion between DHS and his sister. DHS never once felt love towards Ji Won because he doesn't know what it feels like to love and to be loved?
He was lying to himself and he didn't know. I think that's sad for him and for his family. He experienced love without knowing so he couldn't fully enjoy it.
This drama does give hope that love exists and is a force to be reckoned with.

All the actors are a perfect fit to their characters.
The storyline is quite unique and also relatable. Even though, their family relationship is quite unconventional, it maybe is stronger than a conventional family.
So heartwarming! It makes you think and empathise with the characters.
Their dialogue is super witty at times and also real.

How did BHS covered the fact that he didn't kill DMS?
Was it because all the evidence pointed towards DMS being a serial killer and at that time they didn't perform an autopsy?
Surely the coroner/forensic team would know the difference between a suicide and a murder?
