She is strong and independent indeed, sometimes going overboard in her revenge, but you also get to see that she is human and is vulnerable at times. As for a "satisfying revenge", I would say I was satisfied, it is a real life revenge which doesn't end with people dying like in films. It shows how actual divorce is messy and how it affects the couple and people around them.
