No. This is the ACTUAL definition of queerbait which y’all like to ignore - “Queerbaiting is a marketing or narrative technique where creators hint at, tease, or insinuate LGBTQ+ relationships or characters in media (TV, film, books) to attract queer audiences, while never officially depicting them to avoid alienating mainstream viewers.” BL actors can’t queerbait if y’all are getting the BL and the NC. SkyNani is queerbaiting. So again when y’all say BL actors queerbait y’all are not using the right term. And this is backed by BL scholars in academia. They also say y’all use the term BL incorrectly the majority of the time. SkyNani is an example of queerbaiting but not BL actors so it’s best to use another term for BL actors which would be marketing which you’re going to see from every actor BL or not.

And Sky in particular. A lot of BL fans having even seen his work outside of GMMTV but that’s expected from folks in a bubble.

Or they just have good sponsors. There are many factors that good into a series and there has been BL with the same kind of budget. Also folks forget that Sky was in Nadao so he is a whole different kind of actor.

I didn’t think the first ep was bad. Maybe the editing was abrupt at parts (I watched the uncut of course) and I do feel like this was filmed rather quickly but this is giving a basic lakorn plot and the acting was amazing. Like I’ve been bad Thai series this year and this isn’t one.
