It’s just what i thought. Can’t judge the main cast but the screenwriters definitely. I know Thai trans women…
Yea surface level which is what soft power does. It makes things look good on the surface. And again we’ve seen an uptick in series because of how much money it makes. Regardless though BL is pretty niche domestically and still isn’t as high in TV ratings. GL on average is higher. BL GL is seen as something that interfans will pay money into hence why the government is funding it more for tourism but if you look at tpop charts you will not see even one BL actor charting because what’s popular domestically isn’t the same as internationally. A lot of what I said can be easily searched. I’ve done extensive research and even interviewed a Thai trans activist a few months ago.

Thailand isn’t supportive though. And I think interfans need to come to grips with the fact that the media they consume isn’t reality. And this is coming from someone who has lived throughout Asia 😂 Thailand made a bid to host World Pride 2030 and I’m seeing Thai trans folks already speak out against it because they aren’t progressive. There are no trans rights so how is it pro LGBT. BL is an import from Japan (and Japan is still pretty anti trans too) and it’s based on fantasy. Thailand has taken BL GL and turned it into a moneymaking business and now Japan and other Asian countries have cashed in on it as well. Thailand has went further though making it a soft power to make it seem like they are open when it’s all about money at the end of the day. Same with marriage equality. Marriage meant more money for the government. Trans rights though are complicated. I see Thai cis women still saying that they don’t want trans women to change their gender markers because they think men will pretend to be women and hijack women’s spaces and that Thailand isn’t ready for it but interfans will say it’s an open country 😭

A lot of BL fans aren’t aware of what’s actually going on in Thailand and unfortunately this is the norm. Marriage equality benefited the LGB community and even then they still can’t adopt children together (only one person can). And folks call it pro LGBT but trans people still can’t change their gender markers there 🥴 and for example as a result trans women can’t even be flight attendants because airlines think it would be a hassle with them entering countries with their assigned gender marker at birth. Hell even the LGB can be pretty transphobic to Thai trans folks but the transphobia is something common in BL but also lakorn as well and the community has spoken out for years about how these jokes and stereotypes of trans women aren’t funny but Thai cis folks don’t care. Out of all the BL actors I think only Tong from KinnPorsche has spoken up about transphobia while others might use a trans actress to make themselves look pro trans but don’t speak out against discrimination.

the trans jokes were too inappropriate i didn't like them ugh there was no need to have trans characters if you…
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who felt like it was too much. Like we know Thai series historically make trans characters comedic relief but just don’t put them in your series.

ok u just saved my time. thank u
It’s just what i thought. Can’t judge the main cast but the screenwriters definitely. I know Thai trans women will take on roles even if they become the butt of the joke (which is a recurring theme in Thai dramas) but talking to the community and knowing how they don’t like that representation made me just drop it because why 🥴

Go back to the 39 minute mark of the episode where his phone fell. He was happy a second before that.

It’s not “excessive.” There is so much BL out now that isn’t fluffy and y’all still find something to complain about when you can just go watch the non fluffy stuff out that is plentiful.

Whats with the flood of teen actor shows lately, first When oranges fall, this & also Class crush crisis?!…
Flood? You do know that most of the BL out isn’t even teen shows. Y’all complain when there is NC then no NC. Then complain when there aren’t teen shows then complain when there are. Like let the teens have something to watch. There are barely any high school BL out as is so having 2-3 out now is a good thing.

Do you mean that his entire bio is a mix-up with someone else's bio? So all the info is wrong?
There isn’t a mistake. The fans just being delusional and making excuses as usual.

he is 21 years old, his official instagram posted it and the official page for the show
It’s literally on his Insta with his name I’m not sure what’s confusing or hard to understand when it says he was born in 2004. It’s not a mix up and y’all need to stop making excuses. If you wanna watch go watch but stop being delusional.

No we don’t. He posted his profile back in June on Insta and it said he was born in 2004 so like let’s not make excuses. It took only a few minutes to find out that info. If you wanna watch that’s your choice but don’t try and be ignorant.

You’re so kind. Thank you! I found it in Spanish but that was it. I wonder why it doesn’t exist anymore.

Unfortunately I don't have Netflix and the Apple TV link is for Japan so I guess it doesn't exist anymore.

We need to stop this absurd and ridiculous childish prudishness about the age difference between the actors; it's…
You like older guys but get off on seeing young people with an adult on screen. So you’re essentially a pedo. I understand now.

That is their choice like it is your choice to not watch. This is a remake of a 10 year old BL under the same company. If they want to pay homage to themselves that is their right.

There is nothing “prude” about pointing out that it’s creepy that they casted a 21 year old with a 15 year old. It would’ve been better to cast the 15 year old with someone around his age. I’ve watched the OG Make It Right so I’m not shocked though. We also called out the director when they did a remake of the Chinese BL Addicted when they casted August who was almost 30 at the time with an actor that was between 16-17. It’s weird. Y’all BL fans pick and choose what to get mad at because during 4 Minutes y’all were fine with an underage Fuaiz doing those graphic scenes but as soon as he did the charity photoshoot for 4 Minutes then y’all had a problem when the BL was way worse. It is not “perverse” to point out they should’ve casted them close in age like they did with Love Sick 2024. What is “perverse” is y’all making excuses for this behaviour which makes since because y’all were the same people who made excuses for why YinWar didn’t have to make an official statement on their ex business partner when folks found out he was a pedo but in the same breath y’all had issues with Off sexualising a baby and after the whole drama with Justin y’all are once again calling for Prom to be fired for his paedophilic statements a while back. We literally just had Psi the Singha heir who was raped by his nanny and brother call out the entertainment industry after they supported his brother so if that doesn’t tell you there is a problem I don’t know what will.

Can they have more original name for the school? What the hell is Copy A College?
It’s literally the name of the company for the BL. This is very common and there is nothing wrong with that. When Nadao had shows like Hormones the school was called Nadao Bangkok College. If you don’t understand why people of a different culture does something you should ask.
