The girl is 18 and 20ish after timeskip. Plus there’s barely romance in it..you’ll understand if once finished…
Truth to be told I don't care about her age, I just don't like watching Korean romances in general. There's just sth about them which I find really annoying XD But I will keep watching because I'm already at episode 5 and want to know what will happen next.
Sooo like the main problem in this drama was that some high schoolers had a special treatment? And that Ji-hoon's dad was hiding it from him? And So-woo thought it's unfair? I mean, from the beginning it was already not a secret that rich students had a better treatment so what's new? Lol
Maybe I am cynical but that hardly seems worth dying over? I mean I understand it was unfair and made So-woo upset. But he was acting like it was the biggest tragedy ever.
I mean,I really enjoyed this drama,it was interesting and engaging but I think they made this vip students thing much more dramatic that it was.
BTW: Ji-hoon s the best character, the way he manipulated everyone was brilliant.
I enjoyed this drama a lot. It was very entertaining. I love it when Narimiya Hiroki plays characters like J. For me, J was the most interesting character.
I find the premise interesting because of psychological aspects but can somebody tell me if there's a lot of romance? I don't like romance in kdramas and usually try to avoid it...
Yes there are a couple things wrong with this drama! The romance: why are the female love interests in these dramas…
Is there actually a lot of romance here? Will it make me cringe reaally hard? Lol I hate dramas with romance, that is why I usually avoid the ones with "romance" tag but this drama seems pretty interesting so maybe I should actually watch it.
I usually hate romance in dramas and avoid it at all cost but here I was shipping Ai and Azuki sooo much, even though their relationship is obviously not a main point of this drama. I hope they ended up together, which is a bit suggested by their messeges to each other at the last episode (as somebody in the comments translated).
Finished! It took me 2 years to watch and I'm glad I finally did. I loved the story, the characters, the cast,…
Na Yi Je is definitely not a good guy, he's no better than antagonists, no matter what his reasons are the fact that he does not see a problem with causing suffering to others or even killing them for his gain shows he's very sadistic.
It's an interesting drama bc there are no good guys there, everyone is twisted in their own way way, the ml is as sadistic as the antagonists
But my question is: why didn't Lee Jae Joon kill Na Yi Je? I mean staging some sort of accident would be pretty easy for him, it did not work with his brother but if he killed Na Yi Je at the beginning when he started to suspect him, nobody would even do anything about it.
That's why I think this drama is a bit naive, in real life Lee Jae Joon would win a hundred times with his money and power.
I'm at ep.2 and what I don't get is why everybody in the comments blames the children for acting like psychopaths while their parents are actually acting like that too, where did you expect them to learn being different? Lol
I think episodes 25ish-40 were the most interesting and consistent. I liked them too because there was a lot of focus on Ba Ye and Zhang Rishan and those two are my favorites. I don't even know what is happening in a few last episodes, it was so chaotic.
But I will keep watching because I'm already at episode 5 and want to know what will happen next.
Can somebody tell me if they try to introduce some cringy romance there? Between the young policeman and the high-schooler?
Because if yes, I'm dropping it faster than they can say "psychopath". I'm watching thillers without romance tag to omit usual boring kdrama romances.

Btw: what is the novel's title?

I agree with all of you, Ba ye and Rishan were the best part of this show for me too.
