In some cultures, the ring doesn’t really matter or doesn’t have much importance. Some doesn’t use the ring at all. At the end it’s still only a piece of jewelry/ and objects. I don’t really agree with calling Zhu Zhanji abusive. If anything, he was too lenient with Yuan Qi.Yuan Qi committed serious offenses that, in that time period, could’ve easily gotten him executed or thrown in prison. Instead, Zhu Zhanji kept protecting him because of their l history and . He chose other punishments like whipping, hoping he would learn and change. Even ZZJ’s other Eunuch knew and warn him that YQ was a to face snake. when someone is already that deep into corruption it’s hard to change.Even when he became suspicious and later found out about the poisoning plot, he still gave Yuan Qi chances to come clean. Yuan Qi did hesitate but still choose not too . When they were investigating all the eunuchs involved, he gave him many subtle warning and chance to come clean . YQ still lied and still tought he wasn’t going to get caught lol. At the end of the day, Zhu Zhanji wasn’t cruel,he was actually very forgiving. Yuan Qi’s downfall was the result of his own choices, not how he was treated.

Haters with multiple fake accounts to boost or bring down ratings. Some don’t even watch and rate 😭🤣. Some people are rating only because their faves are in a drama. I”ve seen people rating all the episodes of some drama that barely just started airing. ( like 4 episodes out but they already have full reviews and ratings for 40 episodes, make it make sense 🤦🏾‍♀️) majority of the ratings are fake. Even the comments are full of haters and fake accounts so the best way to know is to watch for yourself. I’m telling you by experience.
