That's interesting, I might watch Guardian then, if the stories are similar. I never thought they were brothers…
Do they really love the actors then because imo, if I really admire an actor/actress, then I would look forward to seeing them in different projects together and with others too, growing and flourishing. I feel the hardcore toxic shippers leaving such negative comments are only looking to fulfill their fantasies.

After Mew spilling so much tea on fanservice & shipping, fans should really be careful with shipping the actors. It gets toxic real fast in the fandoms the moment they see their ships branching out.
I would like this to be like Yuri on Ice is by how its not "hey we are a BL, GET YOUR BL HERE" but a normal couple…
Yea marketing a show simply as BL takes away from the main point of the show. They may be long lost lovers, may be they had feelings for each other in the past but never said anything, maybe just soulmates or even besties who knows but the main part of the show is mystery of their true identity, how everything is connected and of course the cursed objects. I am all for BLs where the BL part is the main point. I love their chemistry and the moments ngl, but this series is more than just that.

If you watch the series Guardian then be prepared for very bad SFX π π but both the ML's acting was great. They had a very low budget and then China with their censorship so they had to cut out some parts. But yea, I find some points of that series similar to MM.
I also agree that people in the acting industry should branch out and act with other actors and actresses too! Fans keep making a ship an actor's whole personality and career and that's really limiting for them. Both Gun and Tor are great actors and never thought their chemistry would be this natural but here they are! π₯°π₯°
I love everything about this series! The acting, the plot, the chemistry between the MLs, and the bgm! Both Tor and Gun are great actors. Also, Khatha and Dome's height difference, the way they stare at each other, Khatha being a tsundere but obviously having a weak spot for Dome is just chef's kiss. I love the mini-chapters and how they show what each stolen cursed item does. I have seen some people comment somewhere that there's too much death count, but what does one expect when coming in contact with cursed objects? No wonder Khatha had them hidden away.
Looking forward to more eps. And no, I don't think they are/were brothers. In one of the memories in the beginning of EP 3, we heard Gun's voice say "Can I call you Khatha?", so that means that's a name Gun's character gave to Tor's character in the past. Honestly, I find some similarities between their plot and Shen Wei/Yunlan's plot in Guardian. One immortal looking for someone whom they have seen in the past, cursed objects, channelling the objects bringing too much negative energy to one of the MLs. There are definitely similarities.
I cracked up at the pool table scene because... why sir? they didn't even make out on it or anything, Itt just laid on the table and got up. The scenes felt a bit disjointed and the argument about cake was π€£π€£ Like surely there are other things Itt can be a brat about but cake of all things...Frank is trying his best but the actor playing Day is a bit stiff. I will keep watching though because β¨Dramaβ¨. Hopefully no mentions of cake in today's episode
The synopsis sounded interesting and right now I'm 4 episodes in and I'm bored to tears. Please tell me this show…
If you are watching it at 2x speed then what's the point? π€£ I mean, this is a lighthearted romantic comedy and the buildup of the relationship between is MLs is supposed to be slow. So even if some people tell you the episodes get better as their story progresses ( I personally liked all episodes) doesn't mean you won't find it boring still. Maybe this is not your kind of interesting show π
Wait. Is Noey a freshman in high school and Thi is in college? So theyβre at least fours apart? Is Noey even…
Noey is around 17/18 after finishing M4 as that's the ages of students who move onto M5. Thi is in his 3rd year of Uni so he is around 21. :) some translations to english are wrong.
I hear you! I gave up and am trying again. Iβm on episode 4 and Iβm not seeing any of the sweetness and fluff…
Obviously there has to be shift in dynamic. If you are in ep 8 you will see it soon :) Thi will be a lot more open to Noey as the episodes keep progressing.

If you manage to keep watching then you will see he will fall for a vulnerable side of Noey which Noey never shows to people other than his family and Thiw. Thi realises that Noey's bravado is kind of a front in reality he is just someone who is trying his best the way he knows but is still sensitive.
Is this worth watching? It took me forever to finish the 1st episode, more than once I was tempted to flush this...
I loved this series and used to be my weekly boost of serotonin just as many others who have commented and left reviews for the show, but like with any other series there would be people who won't like it. So if you think you can't finish then this might not be your series :)
I don't think age and whether someone is in university or not decides how timid they are. Certain personality…
I have seen the Devil Judge too actually. Maybe I forgot to add it to my list but yea both lead actors did so well together! The story, cinematography, OST was chef's kiss!

Yea I like it :) I was just giving my opinion on Thi's character too. Thi is definitely slow in the initial episodes but I do think it's because he never had to face such chaotic situaions before so he doesn't really know what to do and panics so I kind of understand him. His otherwise peaceful life got turned upside down by Noey. For me both Noey and Thi are not like typical BL leads. I mean one thinks the other is madly in love with him for some reason and the other has no clue what's going on. But it just adds to the chaotic nature of their relationship initially and to the comedy. Of course all if this is subjective and different people might see things differently. But I hope you enjoy the later episodes when he slowly becomes more responsive towards Noey :)

The misunderstandings are actually supposed to be plot points in the drama to make it seem like they keep bumping into each other unknowingly and how their perceptions of each other change with time, especially for Thi who assumed the worst about Noey because of what he witnessed and what others told him.
In the rooftop scene, he assumed the worst because right before that he was given the wrong info. about Noey by O who said all sorts of things about Noey. So he panicked to "save" NidNhoi from the big bad Noey that O told him about. He was scared shitless to face Noey assuming he carries a gun but yet decided to confront him. Thi's friends gave his number to Auntie Tim because they thought she will contact Thi for Nidnhoi, they didn't know she had a son too. Even at the table, Auntie Tim mentioned that his friends probably gave her his number when they saw that she had a daughter. Never once she mentioned it was for her son so he also assumed it was for NidNhoi.
I agree that in real life people probably figure out stuff much faster but then again this is a series and the events of the first few episodes did happen within a span of few days.
