I don't think age and whether someone is in university or not decides how timid they are. Certain personality traits don't change just because someone is in college. Different people have different personalities and not everyone shares the same ideals and motivations. There are all kinds of people in this world. Obviously, some bits are exaggerated because it's a comedy series and all of their actions are not meant to be taken seriously but I have seen timid people like Thi irl who even have graduated Uni and are doing well in life.
Thi's character even in the novel is of someone who avoids violence and confrontation at all costs. He doesn't like fighting and is slow in his actions because he thinks hard before he acts unlike Noey who acts first and thinks later or doesn't even think sometimes. He is an introvert who likes to stick to his routine. He doesn't even hang out with his friends outside of Uni. But yet he is not afraid to stand upto Noey when it comes to matters of tutoring and stands his ground.
Just dropping by again to say the OST of this show is sooo good! I would love an album release for this. Newery is a hidden gem. All the songs fit their relationship and the opening and ending tracks 😘😘 The OST was what I noticed first in the show.

Yea some of it was probably filmed in some countrysides but there are hidden spots in and around bangkok that look soo different from the glitz and glamor usually shown by media :)

You were probably in bit more affluent areas in Bangkok that's where most tourists go. There are many areas that are not very affluent. The areas close to the temples are mostly places where people with low to medium income live.

Everyone I know who watched that show cried in that scene. You could feel Noey's heart breaking his voice was literally shaking. And then Thi finally asked how he could just let him go like that. That scene was done really well. Nothing over the top, just two souls who longed for each other finally coming together stronger.

haha! I think he found it sometime around EP 2 or 3 after giving Noey the love charm so it wasn't too many days later. He probably though Noey wouldn't ask for it but kept it just in case because he said it was with him for a long time. Sneaky Thi!

Both Bom and Tar are so different from the characters they played and Bom is really articulate! I was surprised in a good way! Really like his personality in real life.

Yea I totally get you about the parents part but I also kind of understand because in the novel the parents didn't have a bigger role either. Their role was just to separate them for a while and then later they approved of him.

Even in the scene in EP 8 when Noey & Thi were walking back to Thi's dorm, Noey said something like "And if you feel I have done enough, you can open your heart more and fall for me completely". Noey basically asked Thi to give him a chance to prove that he is serious about Thi which was quite mature of him. 🥰🥰

I personally thought that the finale was satisfying. They have been in a long-distance relationship while maintaining their uni lives and it showed them both meeting half-way for each other, taking time out from their busy lives whereas in the novel it was just Noey who flew abroad to meet Thi after getting into Uni. But the relationship was not full of drama either that it could be turned to S2 I suppose. So they just added snippets of main events. According to the novel their relationship after Noey graduates HS didn't have any problems.
Honestly, I wouldn't have cared if there were no kiss scenes but it made sense to add that in the final scene because Noey has been trying to kiss Thi for so long and kept getting interrupted every time so ending it with just a cheek kiss wouldn't have been that fulfilling from Noey's POV. And imo, I could feel Noey's impatience in that second as he threw out the notebook in a way to say "I have waited long enough for this" but that's just my opinion haha! I think it was meant to be a b-roll look back to give the audience a glimpse of their relationship after they officially started dating and decided to get into a long distance relationship. Even in the novel, the time they were separated was not much detailed afaik.
