Did y'all notice in EP 12, when Noey was secretly watching Thi leave, his jacket said BUMMER :( I thought it was a nice detail to add. And also how Thi's wardrobe slowly started changing to Hawaiian shirts too after they officially got into a relationship!

In the series they have about 3/4 years age difference :)

The thai fans have already been at it haha! Most of them are asking for S2 and have ideas but the author of the main novel also needs to agree to be a part of the plan or at least hand over the intellectual property rights to them.

Rewatching the whole series again because now we have more clues about Noey's feelings for Thi, his soft expressions for Thi since the early episodes make more sense!

I literally shed tears in that scene and I am usually not too emotional. Noey worked hard and waited so long for this and you could feel it in the urgency he kissed Thi with. He was like "Nope, don't want to waste a single minute now" 🤣🤣

Yea the Noey in the novel was even more extreme compared to the one in series. Like even with swearing, novel Noey started a sentence with a swear word and ended it with a swear word 🤣🤣 In the scene of Bas attacking Noey, it was Noey who got hurt in the novel but in the series they showed Aunt Tim getting hurt which added an extra layer of complexity to the series imo.

These commenters don't care to research first and just judge everything as they see. Talking about casting they don't even know the casting was done according to the novel and fits exactly how the novel described the main leads. And then they blame age of other commenters and act as BL connoisseurs because they are from another generation. As if just being aged automatically gives them good taste in BL hahaha! as if likes and dislikes are not subjective. Even as far as to blaming comments of people who truly enjoyed the show for misleading them. They just can't "eh not for me" and drop it. And they literally can't fathom that there are not many negative comments here because most people liked it just because they didn't like it.

No one is ganging up on you. As it is your right to post different opinion, it is also other's right to debate on it. You literally said you don't understand why people love it as if the concept of different tastes doesn't exist but yet here you are complaining how people who like this show are not welcoming your different opinion.

It does sound a bit immature if you don't acknowledge diversity is tastes but expect others to accept you opinion. You are welcome to disagree with my opinion but others can also disagree with yours. And genres are too vague, just because both shows belong under same genre doesn't mean they have to be compared. Storylines are what makes the show. And the two shows vastly different storylines...so yea comparing them makes no sense.

But hey, you are welcome to have your opinion. But let others form their own opinion too instead of just saying "They're many very good BLs airing right now or about to be aired so I say skip it if you can't watch too many shows at the same time." which is based purely on your experience. Actually even in the novel, Thi's parents didn't do much. Just didn't like Noey for their son and sent Thi abroad but once they saw Noey worked hard, they didn't bother them anymore. So in the series too, they were just there to express their disapproval and to separate them for a while. They didn't have a bigger role.

In the series, there is a high chance he has be offed by other gangs and no one knows where the body is which is quite common in gang wars as his father was seriously a gangster in the series. Or he was on the run because of gang stuff and his family knows this but not where he is for their own good.

In the novel it was different. Noey had a stepfather instead who used hurt his mom when he was small which is why he vowed to be like this so no one can ever bully them again. Noey was also the only child in the novel. Nidnhoi's character was added in the series.

Tar is a great actor no doubts but I don't get all the hate Bom has been getting. Like literally he talks about how his character is supposed to have over the top reactions because his character is supposed to be overly dramatic in the face of crisis and it is this OTT behaviour that Noey found interesting in the series. And yet some people are like "oh why is he being dramatic" like idk, watch some interviews, do a bit of research on your own to understand why 😫

This! Let people make their own decision. If anyone has any questions we can give them the best answer we can based on novel and the cultural references. But we cannot certainly influence someone's preference. It has been trending in Thailand and even globally sometimes for a reason. Specially when this wasn't even marketed heavily like other big name productions market their series.

You don't understand why people love it just because you don't like it. There is a thing called PREFERENCE. Not everyone has the same tastes. I know a lot of people rave about MSP but I dropped it because it was a BIG NO for me as I found it a boring and nothing about the story grabbed my attention. But sure people love it and I figure it's their taste. No big deal. Definitely not going around asking people to skip it.

No one is forcing you to like the show like it's that easy to drop it haha! You acting like you better than everyone here who are enjoying the show is a bit ....immature. This show has been trending along with other shows and a lot of people outside of MDL have praised this show so much. So not really an "unnoticed" show at this point. It has quite a big following more so in Thailand. It's weird when non-Thai people judge a Thai show based on non-Thai standards.

No one is forcing anyone to like this show, people are making their own judgements. You are literally here comparing the show to another show with a completely different storyline and asking people to skip this because YOU don't like it is not it. Let people make their own decisions. If they like it, good, if they don't well they can drop it too. Simple.
