Episode 7 was the best episode yet - except for loser Dan worming his way back into the fold! If Little Jane lets…
And that’s why I don’t trust Little Jane…he’s to easily swayed and gullible! He let Dan and Put ( who both had major ulterior motives! Dan who hates Big Jane and wants to ruin him and Put who was in love with Little Jane) convince him that his boyfriend is this super evil guy who wants nothing but to hurt and destroy everyone around him! So when Little Jane was all defending Dan in episode 7 I literally rolled my eyes and was like “Ah shit….here we go again “!! Like I love the fact that Little Jane admitted ( few times) that he was wrong for not trusting Big Jane and just believing all the negative things people *cough* Dan and Put *cough* were saying about him butttt I don’t trust that he won’t slip back into his old ways!
DRAMA!!!!! I wonder who’s telling the truth…. 🤔🤔🤔!!! Other people have also said that Dans character has already been changed from the novel and that they combined him and another character for the show! Because Dan and little Jane were never romantic and didn’t date in the book! So it will be interesting to see how it plays out! I still personally don’t trust him and I genuinely believe he doesn’t care about little Jane at all and only wants to get back at Big Jane….which we still don’t know why…unless I missed something it was told exactly why he hates Big Jane?

Yo like for real episode 7 is my favorite episode!!!! I loveeeedddddddd it!!! I loved that Little Jane realized how much of stupid head he has been!! I love that he is the one chasing Big Jane…..although I will say I wanted to slap him when he started defending Dan!! Like duh….Big Jane had every reason to dislike him…literally tired to destroy his reputation and his relationship! And like isn’t it suspicious that after Lil Jane and Big Jane broke up Dan completely disappeared from Lil Jane‘s life? I mean, he claimed to love him so much but he just like walked out of his life for five years. Didn’t even try to get in contact with him. You know if I claim to love somebody so much I wouldn’t just walk out of their lives for five years ! That’s weird to me and then all of a sudden once he sees that little Jane and big Jane are like talking again he wants to interfere. I think Dan is 100% using Little to mess with Big Jane. I don’t think he actually care that much about Little Jane!
So for me I LOVED the first two episodes of Double Helix!!! I loved how sweet and cute they were in high school! Watching them fall in love…..ughhh it was so heartwarming and gave me butterflies!! But here’s the thing I am a baby when it comes to angst…like watching both of their families be soooo homophobic and abusive was really hard to watch! After that I got some spoilers from people and heard that like one of the ml was forced into a straight marriage….which like nope…..Can’t deal with that! I also heard that their relationship gets very toxic and non consensual…..and so I had to tap out after hearing that and just drop the show! For my own sanity….I stopped at episode 3!
Sadly I dropped Double Helix!! I couldn’t finish it!
Oh my god I would absolutely LOVVVEE if Little Jane is the one actively pursuing Big Jane!!! And you are right I think that would make more sense because Big Jane did promise him that he would stay away and not interfere in his life ….so if Little Jane is the one making the moves he would technically still be keeping his promise 😈😈😈!!!

I really don’t hate Little Jane…..do I think he’s super annoying? Hell yes! Do I think he can’t think for himself and is a push over? Absolutely yes! But do I hate him definitely not! I actually really really really want to like him but he irritates the fuck out of me with his dumb decisions! Because I can see that Little Jane genuinely wants to be with Big Jane and does love him but he lets other people who are clearly manipulative and don’t have good intentions sabotage his relationship and that is…..very frustrating to watch! I do agree that Big Jane should have communicated wayyyy more and way better….just because he was willing to be open and honest with Little Jane doesn’t mean he should just wait for Little Jane to be the one to initiate communication in their relationship! He should definitely have been more proactive and told Little Jane stuff!
How is Dan in the books?! Because I genuinely do not trust him….like at all!
I FUCKING KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew there something really bad about him!!! So he was manipulating Little Jane the whole time!!! Does Little Jane ever find out that he tried to kill Big Jane?
But I don’t think Big Jane has ever lied to Little Jane….I mean I could be wrong but I genuinely don’t remember him telling Little Jane a lie. And that is what frustrates me so much about Little Jane….it feels like he’s constantly trying to catch Big Jane in a lie! Big Jane has told him many times anything he wants to know he will tell him and he does! And when Big Jane does explain the misinformation and rumors it’s still not enough for Little Jane….hes still waiting for this gotcha moment! It’s like dude if you don’t trust him and are incapable of believing him ( even though he has proven himself to be a truthful guy) then why be with him? It’s like at some point you just got either trust your boyfriend and block out the outside noise and negativity that’s coming from other untrustworthy people OR don’t be him!

I mean it was extremely obvious that Put was in love with Little Jane and was determined to break up his relationship lol Little Jane even knew this which is why he fought with Put so much AND YET he still believed all the negative things he had to say about his boyfriend 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️!! It’s the same thing with Dan….he had a personal vendetta against Big Jane and was determined to do anything to make his life miserable! And the second Little Jane breaks up with Big Jane Dan immediately is like “I love you go out with me!” like what ?!?? How do you not see that as suspicious…..it doesn’t cross your mind that Dan might be using you to torment Big Jane even more by you know stealing the only person he has ever cared about? Dumb ass🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️!! It’s like every time these two clowns say something negative about Big Jane he just automatically believes it…..like why would you take the word of these two guys who obviously have major ulterior motives and are ACTIVELY trying to ruin your relationship?!?
