YEAH LOL!!! I totally get you!!! His run is superrrr goofy!! Like no one in real life runs like that LOL! Good news though as the episodes go on he runs away a lot less!! I haven't read the novel sadly....I went into this blind because I was bored and I just watched latest episode of The Edge of Horizon and I wanted something kinda similar!! I binged it all in a day LOL!!

I get you.....Nakun is honestly very annoying and irritatingly dumb but I'd say in episode 6 his character just clicks and he gets a whole lot better!! It is really true that the second half of the show is really good! If you can make it to episode 6 you will not be disappointed! Honestly I rated it a 9 and I wanted to rate is higher but in good conscious couldn't because of how slow the start of the series is!! The last few episodes are really good....and the ending is so beautiful it really left me with a huge dumb smile on my face! I'd say stick it out if you can its worth it!!

So I just finished this series and I will say I really enjoyed it!!! Now if I am being honest I will say this series does not start getting good till episode 6.....I know that is a big ask....to wait 6 episodes for the show to start getting good BUT if you can make I would say it is 100% worth it!! Especially for the ending.....the ending left me on such a high note!! If you are at all on the fence I say give it a try and see if you can make it past episode 5....because if you can I think you will really be glad you stayed till the end!!

PLEASE GIVE US GL!!!! We 100% need it!!!!! I think Jan and the Princess are so cute together!!!!! Somebody make that shit happen TODAY!!!! I would love it if the Princess and Tinn end up becoming the ultimate gay besties!!! UGH I DIE!!!

Can you explain a little more...I am super on the fence about watching this show...I love GemFort but I have a really really bad relationship with Christianity. I really don't want to be triggered but at the same time I want to watch GemFort.....they are probaly my favorite pairing and I haven't watched anything with them since My School President!

This is my thoughts as well!! I think Phobs love is genuine and he is using this coup as a way to create a reality where titles like commoner or royalty doesn't matter and so it can be easier for them to be together!!

And you know back when I first watched the pilot I remember thinking...how are we supposed to root for Jane falling in love with a demon? Like clearly hes evil why would want him to be in love with the literal devil!?! So it makes more sense that there is no supernatural stuff and Jane isn't actually this evil demonic being lol

Yeah you are right Saen was pretty jaded and hardened from the start because of his awful monster of a father! Tinns dad doesn't seem to be super abusive towards him and I feel might actually care about his sons well being!

I love both of the leads as well.....like dude why is Ongsa soooo freaking pretty!!! There some scenes in the episode that I was just stunned by how beautiful Ongsa was!! The only other actor I have ever been stunned by their beauty was Namping from DMD!!! And Inn....that man is so handsome!!! I can't with him....like who wouldn't fall head over heels for him!!

I am hoping that Tinns "wife" stays a friend through out the series.....I HATTTEEEE the classic bl troupe of evil, jealous, vindictive woman! Like please let her be an ally!!!

This has gotten me excited to watch the series....not going to lie when I found out that there wasn't any supernatural stuff I kind was disappointed but from what you told me this also sounds super interesting!! I will say though it was kind of a bad choice on the show runners part to make it seem like there is a huge supernatural element to this show...especially knowing that most people who watch the show most likely won't have read the book before hand to know that its just a metaphor him being like a devil/demon!

Yes Tinn is a cutie pie and a sweet heart and I love that about his character!! But in the same episode when he was being bold and brave when he confronted Phob...I was like "YES!! FIGHT FOR YOUR LOVE TINN!!" and then when things got tough he kinda just gave up pretty quick afterwards.....I just kinda wanted to see that same fire he had previously!! Like I said I still love Tinn and I UNDERSTAND why he did what he did....I just wanted to see a little more fight!

And to my credit its kind of hard not to compare both shows LOL!!! Both are period pieces about gay thai princes who fall in love with a man who is very close to them! And both have fathers who stop at nothing to destroy their sons happiness! They are pretty similar you have to give me that LOL!!!
