It is not crazy good, but not bad either. The best part about this drama was the pace of the events. It didn't feel rushed or lagging. I give this a 7.5/10
I hate sad endings. That is why I always avoid sad endings, and I heard that this drama was sad, so I avoided it for the longest time. After many years, I finally found courage, and I watched this. The story is happy till a certain point, then in the last few episodes, it becomes sad. It's not exactly sad - it isn't the typical textbook happy ending.
I didn't cry much during this drama. Maybe cause I felt all these emotions beforehand, or maybe cause I feel like this was more realistic and practical. I thought, maybe the main lead couple could have waited and been in a long distance relationship and ended up together, like Yu Rim and Ji Woong. Maybe they would have been together if Hee Do recieved her diary on time and not so many years late. Maybe, if they communicated more they would have been together. I had these thoughts. But, I'm not completely sad with the ending. For comparison, I would use the Chinese movie "Love You Forever". If I rate that movie 8/10 for being sad, then this drama would be rated a 3/10. Overall, the drama was good and depicted youth, passion, friendship and people realistically. Nothing lasts forever.
So, anyone who wishes to watch this but also hates sad endings, go ahead and watch it. It isn't too heart-breaking.
This was a very refreshing drama! The plot twists were crazy and unexpected! This teaches us to NEVER trust anyone ever. A solid 9/10! Binged the whole series within a day!
I liked the ending. Didn't find any problem with it. A solid 7.5/10 just because it was released in 2014...If it has more visual effects and was aired in 2024 or something, then I would have given a 8.9/10...
