I almost want to cry when I realize I can't watch ep 7 immediately after the end of ep 6. Even if the later half betray my expectation, I would still give it high rating. The first half is already a masterpiece.
Hi, any recommendations for drama as trilling as this one, with good plot from beginning till the end? Preferably with tiny splash of romance. The only one I can think is Someday or One Day. If you have other title in mind, please share. I rewatch this drama a lil bit too often๐
I know that new episodes go live in Korea at 10:30 PM South Korean timezone, that's around 11:30 AM EST. Anyone…
I'm in Asia, so maybe it will be different. But it appear in my netflix 1,5 hours after the countdown in MDL end. I also have nothing to watch on netflix recently, so can't help๐
I don't think it's right to call it 'cheap knock off'...It's work for it's genre and audience. Visual is often…
Popularity comes because a lot of people enjoy that show. Because it's a simple show, like a simple food, is more palatable for more people. And for simple show, they do it right. Good visual, good acting, good music, likeable characters, focus on romance part instead of criminal or fantasy plot (yes a lot of people want that). What you think as disadvantage maybe the one luring others to that show.
In comparison, Atypical Family is more niche. Psychological drama with super power family that have grey morale characters? Not palatable for everyone. But the one who like it, will LOVE it.
My point, rating is not equal to great show for everybody. It just consensus of majority.
You are not alone. For a drama that has many unique and remarkably contra-trope characters, the predictable conclusion…
True! Well, predictable or not, the writer execution matter the most. But non tropey conclusion surely help if they doesn't have other things on their sleeve.
People on this site are not obsessed with the couple's looks, hence the reason this show is not scoring a 9-10…

Yeah, the way they rating other show lower just because they love certain show is unnecessary and ridiculous. But it's not degrading the show itself.
I honestly wish people would elaborate on what they mean when they say people have no chemistry or what they are…
Same, same sentiment. I think 'chemistry' can be very subjective. I think, in drama case, it's a moment that bring excitement to the audience about characters relationship, reasons may varied for every person.
Personally, I found it on ep 2 when they have conversation while drinking after deliver Ina home. These two are flirting HARD. Like slowly breaking each other wall, reveal vulnerability. Two person having good conversation feels like chemistry for me. I see spark in the air. But maybe that's just me, haha.
I see others try to find that on kissing scene. Maybe try to find sexual tension? In that case, I'm on same page with them. Doesn't give me excitement when I watch that.
Unpopular opinion: chemistry in non romance-focus drama is not a big deal. We can get good drama even without that.
If they follow the core of the Cdrama. I think the most important part is the family story. I already feel their chemistry, the two fathers and these 3 kids. I hope they make it good! ๐ซถ
OOOH, seems good! I'm a big fan of Go Ahead, but this one of remake that I think will be good. Already feel the chemistry of the two fathers and Bae Hyun Sung. The family part seems great!
It's a VW, but they stopped making them look like that. They redesign it every few years and the new one doesn't…
True, the new one doesn't look as cute and classic as Sunny๐ฅฒ, but still cool. I somehow always love beetle since I was a kid whatever era it comes from. (but terrible at recognising it).
Oh, that a very nice first car! I also love small car, but more for aesthetic reason. But I'll never get Sunny, because having VW especially convertible in my country would be nightmare. I'll just pleasing my eyes with it. Sunny's life is so short, I'm not even have time to watch her looks๐

And yes the ost, those are art.

They want a cinnamon roll that can kill.
Finally all characters are on action.
