I just watched season 1, and I can’t help loving this drama all the more, now it’s a matter of personal preference, but I think this beat Nirvana in Fire plot wise. I’ll just watch other Zhang Ruoyun/ Xiao Zhan dramas to keep me going, then read the novel to hold out till 2022....it’s such a long wait
TBH, I’d rather she doesn’t end up with either of them. I mean, current husband is doing the same thing that ex did to her, lying about his profession. So it’ll make sense that she doesn’t end up with either, it shouldn’t matter that they both are on opposite sides of the law (current and ex husbands I mean). Well, let’s see how the whole thing pans out.
I rather felt that the flashbacks makes the story more fleshed out, at lest it gives us insight into the main characters’ mind set, especially with Derek. It can’t be helped if you don’t like it, but it makes this drama more solid and heart felt IMO.
Am I the only one enjoying the flashbacks? Lol. I was happy to watch the flashback of Yoo In Na and Im Joo Hwan,…
Definitely, I thought he didn’t feel anything for the wife, but the attraction was there, at least I know he married her because he liked her. I feel like Derek’s is the most fleshed out of them all, even more so than the ML.
This literally happens in every kdrama or any drama i watch- hiding the truth. like why?ji hoon wants ah reum…
Yep, Tinker’s definitely more scarier than Derek, I mean he knew that Ah-reum is Derek’s wife and still ran her down in ep 2 or was it 3? Anyways, he’s giving me more ‘cruel guy’ vibes than Derek
In episode 6's ending there was a trailer for episode 7 which Her current husband told her he was a spy...But…
It’s there in Episode 7, he said it when the blender is on, so she couldn’t hear it. It was an ‘attempt ‘ to tell her though, he didn’t really come out.
Is it just me, or Juhwan's character overshadows the ML once again, Derek is more mysterious, he seems to have…
My thoughts exactly, I just feel like Im Joo hwan’s charactwr is so 3D! He’s like a puzzle I want to figure out, to see how his mind works, and with each episode we so more sides to his character, especially in episode 7, I felt like I could almost see how the wheels in his brains turn. I look forward to each episode ‘cos I wonder which side of his character we’ll be shown
Now this is a matter of perspective, but I feel that Im Joo-hwan nails the minute facial expressions better, you know, those subtle eye facial muscle movement. I already know his character is shady af, but I’m more interested in knowing more about him than Eric’s character. I’m we’re being thrown bits here and there as to who he really is, but I want to know what makes him tick, how his mind works. Of course Eric does a superb job here, and love his acting here. This drama has a very quaint charm and I love it
First episode was super intense! I love how it dove right into the story. Jo Bo-ah’s acting has improved. Lee Dong-wook is of course phenomenal, and Kim Beom nails the sassy, suave but definitely crazy Fox-person! I just know I’m going to enjoy the show
