The writer missed the chance to a good story lol I wish it was the other way around for the soul swap and they give it time to develop the real shen xihe character into a really good FL, gu qing zhi character is arrogant, prideful, ruthless and selfish, when narrating how her family was massacred she didn't even show a shred of avenging her dead family she only poisoned herself because of her pride (correct me if I'm wrong) she wants to always win and the family massacred felt like she lost a game. If the real shen xihe was the ML it would make sense for the ML character especially if the story molded her into a strong woman and learned that the world isn't always roses and flower. Honestly it's complicated atm
