I did not care about that " kiss", because at least one of the couples had a proper kiss scene, that is the good…
To each their own. But these aren't kids & this show is a little more on the grown up mature side so I was expecting a little more realistic kiss because...they are grown ups.
But if that "kiss" works for you then frozen kiss on.
Because I like this show enough, I will choose to ignore that pathetic, embarrassing, expected, frozen, & insulting "kiss". Writers/directors are still not learning & it's sad.
I don't get why you think there shouldn't be high expectations for a BL. It's still actors & directors & scripts…
I'm not arguing...it's really not that serious LOL. You can rate any way you like as do I. I thought you were being a little harsh with YOUR critique in your original comment about "people's high expectations".
Either way, We Best Love is most definitely worth the 100...agreed.

I totally agree with you. There aren't as many & folks, like me, tend to find the BL releases as feast or famine LOL. I do watch almost all of them, however, I've become pickier about what BL I will watch now based on a couple of my learned trial & error preferences LOL.
BUT, the expectations I set are based on the content, acting, storyline, subject matter, writer, director, actors, yada yada yada...NOT on the fact that it is a BL. Also, because opinions vary as much as the MDL rating, I find that I would rather have my own opinion about a show/movie rather than base whether I watch it off of others. Has the rating & opinions swayed me to watch a show that I wasn't planning to? Yes. Has it always been a good decision for me? No. 2 episodes into SOTUS & I felt the BL audience punked me. BUT, I had no interest in watching The Eighth Sense & after reading the reviews I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed it.

But there are plenty of shows that don't have that huge budget that not only had high expectations but blew past them! Huge budgets don't mean shit if all of the ingredients don't hit right. We all have different opinions about what is great...for example...you gave Bed Friend a 10...I dropped it after 6 when I truly felt like I would gauge my eyes out with a spoon.
It was a cute episode, I liked it. Sometimes I don't get people's high expectations for BLs, it's not like they're…
I don't get why you think there shouldn't be high expectations for a BL. It's still actors & directors & scripts & cameras & wardrobes & writers & plots & budgets & blah, blah, blah, just like everything else yeah? I don't know why BL's are automatically starting out with low expectations JUST because they are BL...does that mean every other genre automatically has the bar risen & high expectations are at an all time high AND are met?
But if that "kiss" works for you then frozen kiss on.
Anyhoo, I kinda sorta love Sara.

Aaron & Hank making a cameo was most welcome!
