Hey look I'm sure you're right. BUT this is 8 episodes - I'm not that optimistic LOL. I also know that once I hate a character enough it would take too much to get me to care about shit concerning them & not only is 8 episodes not enough time, IMO & experience, but I have very low tolerance for the whole "something happened in the past to make him become so immoral". Agreed. Joong is totally tasty but his acting is still miles ahead of Dunk. But I don't care about the parents or their relationship problems because it's THEIR problems. Their children went to school, were fed, were & still are financially well off, & don't seem to be wanting for anything. They don't have to explain themselves to anyone...ever.
Whether the mother ran away with the milk man or didn't go on family trips or became a stripper in Vegas doesn't matter one bit as it's her life & THEIR marriage. They aren't even asking anything from their children except to understand that some times relationships don't work even when you try. They clearly have respect for each other & their children but have not received the same in return from Mr. Selfish. If you're telling me that they told the other kids & not him...well yeah...he has the mentality of a 4 year old.
If anything they should have taken more time explaining to him what the definition of soul mate is & maybe how not to be such a selfish prick. A little respect could go a long way for him too.
