On My Bias, My Boss 7 hours ago
So I've finally watched unreleased scenes from episodes 5 and 6, as a little treat for myself since the next episode is just hours away, and even though I like them, I'm not surprised they ended up on the cutting room floor.

In my opinion, they reveal way too early that Dareum is already falling for Hagi. She's wondering why her heart is beating so fast, and she chose to sit next to him during dinner even though Lee Chan was right there.

In the scenes they went with instead, she's focused on Hagi's behaviour towards her. She's yet to realise that something shifted between them. Imho, they were never casual and it'll become more obvious with each episode.

Episode 7 clip annoyed me so much that I've started reading the Webtoon.
Lee Chan is so insecure. It's really off putting to me.

We're half way though this kdrama and I really like the approach they're taking with Dareum and Hagi. It's very quiet love coded. They grow closer without realising it. I wonder how much time will pass till Dareum realises that Hagi is her comfort person she can rely on.

I still have my Royal Nemesis on my "plan to watch" list l after all episodes are out, but the fact that it dropped over 150 spots in ranking this week isn't promising at all.

I'm currently fighting the urge not to watch all of the available episodes. I tried to space it out, but I'm failing big time. This show is truly something special to me.

Perfect Crown is literally the first kdrama I can't move on from. Even though I'm watching Lovely Runner right now I catch myself rewatching my favorite episodes of Perfect Crown.

Miscommunication pretty much doesn' t exist in Hui Ju and Lee Wan's world and I bet that the more time passes, the more I'll appreciate it.
I miss them so much.

After the third rewach of Perfect Crown I can honestly say that this kdrama cought me be surprise. In fact, even at the beginning of April it wasn't on my radar at all. I just pressed play at episode 1 because I like when something plays in the background. Little did I know...

I’ve been hooked since episode 1, and I rarely watch ongoing kramas. The world building, the soundtrack, the blooming love and communication, His Majesty even the secondary characters kept me engaged every week (Steward Kim has my whole heart <3) never failing to deliver pure entertainment to me.

Ultimately, Perfect Crown to me is all about healing, coming out of your shell and LIVING instead of just existing within the expectations and limitations forced upon someone.

Both Song Hui Ju and The Grand Prince were neglected and overlooked in their childhood. But the results of such treatment in their adult life are very different. In fact, in many ways they are polar opposites. Hui Ju goes through life led by anger, hidden behind high self-esteem. Meanwhile, I-AN settles for quiet restraint and obedience.

When they reconnect (after a decade of not seeing each other), suddenly they are no longer alone. Up until their reunion, they both navigated through life dealing with the tense relationship with their relatives relying mostly on their assistants. But after accepting Hui Ju’s proposal everything has changed. The way they take for each other from the jump need to be studied. To me, there are one of the healthiest couples I’ve came across in kdramas, and imho topping them in my book will be a struggle.

I’m very grateful that international watchers get a change to experience Perfect Crown lore thanks to the help and support of Korean speaking fans. Thanks to them we get the little gems from cast interviews and scripts, BTS and we can read the web novel, which I didn’t even anticipate, to be honest.

It shows me that despite lame haters working 24/7 we build our fandom of Perfect Crown and I hope it’ll be active for a long time. I really enjoy discussing this drama with y’all.

Even though It sucks that we’ve been robbed out off one third of the planned story, I cherish every single one of the 12 episodes.
It’s my first kdrama from BWS and IU but certainly won’t be the last. In fact, I plan to finally watch Lovely Runner sometime next month and I’m yet to decide what to watch first from IU’s filmography. Any recs? I’m currently debating between Hotel Del Luna and Moon Lovers.

Perfect Crown becomes just the second kdrama I rewatch on a regular basis.
I can’t wait till I get my hands on the box set.

I hope everything works out well for BWS and IU and I hope they’ll have a better experience on the sets of their future projects.

Stay positive, I’ll be lurking here regularly.

This should have been an epilogue😂😍https://x.com/bibimguksue/status/2056412219211207008?s=46
Why was it deleted? They should've kept it. I always thought there's something missing.

Quick thoughts on episode 11 & 12 .
Pt 1

I held off as long as posibble and I'm glad I turnt the last episodes into a mini movie. Both Hui Ju and I Rang carried them in my opinion and delived pure karma to the PM. I've felt for a while shat the former QM will come to I-AN sooner or later. But in the end, she played a bigger role than anticipated.

She not only snitched on her father, but she also warned I-AN against the PM. In the last episode she did even more in episode 12 and utumately led to PM's downfall. As annoying as she's been mof of the show, I'm glad she switched sides. For me, that scene with Lee Wan in front of the music shop is a win. She can have a civil convrsation with him.

The PM underestimated how well Hui Ju knows him. I'm glad that she exposed him during s Council meeting. She delivered the final blow in front of everybody. There's no coming back from that.

I'm actually surprised that I-AN didn't really suspect the PM til the very end. I agree with Hui Ju's sentiment on him : You have such a gentle heart, it breaks my heart...
