Here's my take after episode 10 pt 1: The person who might unexpectedly side with I-AN is the Queen Mother. Here's…
1) She already knows that It's only a matter of time till I-AN takes the Crown,
2) She already doesn't trust her father after the PM brought evidence that he tried to poison I-AN (He didn't hide it or tried to deny it either),
3) her interaction with her son in ep 10 might change a lot. She finally knows how badly she messed up and she finally saw him as a a child,
4) what I-AN told her might stuck with her. He wants to stand in front of his nephew to protect him, while everyone else seems to see him as a puppet.
5) what the PM said to her might scare her. I can totally see the threads he sent her way in episode 10 backfire on him.
6) I-AN is the only person who gave any sort of assurance that her life won't turn into a complete hell hole after her son is no longer the King. In fact, I AN openly told her that he won't make her pay for her sins (even if his did it for the same for his nephew,
7) ep 10 confirmed that she has romantic feelings for I-AN. Even though it's one sided, she won't be neutral about another attempt on his life,
8 ) I'm positive the QM tried to warn I-AN at the end of episode 10, that's why...
9) she'll bring " the girl she hid" to the palace. In my opinion, it's 99% Aurum, the girl who gave testimony against her father. Aurum went straight to the PM to come clean, but he decided to cover it up instead.
I'm stating to suspect that some people are just mad that the kdrama they don't enjoy is so successful. Perfect Crown ratings keep going up week by week, no matter how many hate comments they leave. Just imagine wasting your time like this. It wouldn't be me.
I'm not surprised at all. But I truly don't know what the PM's end goal is here. All that fuss for a woman whose first response to his marriage proposal was - why would I marry you? Take a hint, she doesn't want you.
Some people after ep 7-8 seem to let the Prime Minister off the hook as the possible villain and I wonder why, when he's currently the only side character with both his very own flashbacks (where he appears to be very protective and helpful) and he was featured twice in the epilogues with I-AN.
The Queen Mother also seems nice in her more recent flashback, but look where she's now.
To me it looks pretty obvious that the Prime Minister was trying to poison Grand Prince Yi An, cause when the…
I completely agree with you, in fact I'm planning to post all the hints I noticed so far pointing at the PM being the villain, before new episodes drop. There's just too much focus on him since episode 1, imho.
Episode 8 has two of my favorite scenes between Hui Ju and I-AN that I feel like are barely talked about. Both of them happened in their bedeoom.
I adore how quiet but reashuring their love is. It keeps growing in their little interactions no one knows about. I'm pretty sure that I-AN already knows that Hui Ju already loves him, but chooses to teaae her about, instead of confronting her.
We finally got a scene from Hui Ju when she was on the verge of tears, and it wasn't even about her. It was abot I-AN belittling the danger he was in. IU in my opinion did a stellar job with displaying that growing frustration and anger. Because for Hui Ju it isn't fine if I-AN's life is on the line. He cares about her and she knows it, because she heard it directly from HIM.
In my opinion, I-AN fully deserved that little peck Hui Jui gave him during their first night as a married couple. The way she got so flustered said everything. She finally acted with her heart. I'm glad we most likely have her love confession in the upcoming week.
Prlme Minister's karma will be everything. ...and he still has no idea.
Aside from the PM missing his chance to veto the marriage when he had a chance, imho little does he know he puts on the line both his friendship with I-AN and Hui Ju.
Since she told I-An in ep 6 that once they're married she'll get rid off every obstacle standing in his way.
WHY?!

Besides, I'm pretty sure I-AN already KNOWS...

I-AN was actually scary at the beginning of episode 8, if he brings such energy to the rest of the story the hell will break loose.
I actually cannot wait.
Hui Ju will have accept her feelings for I-AN and she'll do it faster thanks to PM among other pepple.
Since she told I-An in ep 6 that once they're married she'll get rid off every obstacle standing in his way.
PM is clearly on the path to become one.
...and he still has no idea.
This episode might have the shortest epilogue so far but it's also my favorite. The way I-AN stood his ground about the Prime Minister is everything.
