yeah, and maybe the brother decided continued pretending for a year now (and started caring for the wife and the child) and had to restart seeing the mistress (who suffered an abortion if i remember right, maybe she was out of the picture for a while, maybe had therapy for mental breakdown or something, but came back 3 months ago) ... it's a log shot, i know :)))

You know what threw me off though? The part where he shakes and gets angry and says "you really don't know?! I love.... I love someone else". I said above as well, I think the one we are seeing now is not the real husband, who had a double life, we are seeing the brother that somehow does not want to pretend as the real husband did, and is trying to get her out of that life.
I felt that line as if he's been pretending to be her husband for a while now, and ended up caring for her, somehow expecting her to see the differences as well ("you really don't know?!") and the "I love..." followed by the pause, led me to think how hurt he was that he cannot tell her why he is doing all of it.
He said he wants the daughter to enrage her and make her use all the evidence he gave her (the video, the contract etc) and destroy the mistress as well.

This is how I see it. It would be a great idea for a plot, it would be sad if it's just me reading too much into it :(

i loved how casual everything changed: from hope to instant realization, from power to defeat, from control to total disbelief.. it made all of it feel real. It was one of the best things I've seen in terms of script and acting.

I think the husband was a scumbag. I think he found his brother and was trying to convince him to pretend to be him, while he gets to fool around with the mistress. The husband then gets in an accident and being scared to loose the wife and thus all her money, he again begs the brother for help. Kind of "just until I get better, please, I don't wanna loose my entire life, she is famous if this gets out I loose it all." etc etc... but then dies or something.
But I believe that while pretending, the brother ends up really caring for the wife, and despising the mistress and the games the husband played. So I am thinking that by helping the wife divorce and giving her all the evidence, he is setting her free.
I strongly believe the Heo Soon Young we are seeing is in fact the missing brother, helping her.

If it is not this, then I really, really ...REALLY misunderstood the "I love... " part when they were fighting, cause I read some very deep emotions there that due to a secret, cannot be shared.

It's either this or I just came up with a better plot.

So ML is from the future too and is trying to help her get a new relationship to avoid her future (kinda had this idea from the start since he is always a step ahead of her) but what I don't know is why he doesn't fell that he, himself, would be a good match? Does he have a bad fate to? (died or something)
I did not read the web novel.

I think her real husband died and the twin and the friend are trying to take over her life (friend might be jealous of her for never managing to please her own father like the FL did and the twin because his brother had a perfect life).

I am right now suspecting they twins met a few years ago and FL's husband might have had an accident, the twin took his place long ago and I think he is actually the father of the girl.

Doesn't totally add up and i am not sure because I kinda got lost in the timeline, but the twin and her friend know about her medical problems, taking advantage of it to take everything away from her. Just 2 jealous people meeting.


OR the current husband is the real husband, playing the role of his twin to make the mistress believe her plan (and the evil twin's plan) is still on.

My guess (if indeed there was a death a year ago) the one that died was her real husband.

Agree on all of it. Plus, if I may add: giving him that gun in the end annoyed me a bit. Aside from the whole "suicide is reversible if you regret it long enough" - the gesture itself felt off. So the dude killed himself then you give him the gun to point to his head...
It's not a REAL complaint here, don't get me wrong, I just.. a different gesture might have worked better.

I know they did, but it is not showing that suicide is irreversible ... it's kind of a religious thing "regret it hard enough and you will be rewarded" while to me, life is unique and cannot be retrieved once lost no matter how hard you would have regretted it.
I would have even preferred for it to be a time stopping thing... death stopped him and should him what would happen and he ends up not doing it.
But I do not thing that was the case...

Yes, suicide affects more than the one dying, and if anyone should understand this is not by granting anyone a second chance. That is why I regret the message felt kind of lost to me. :(

i didn't get that either: Death said she was meant to die, but her being there in that spot for so long was that she was talking to the ML so it seems he caused it. Death either cheated or lied and that is not fair.. kinda hits the plot and those rules.

Not to mention the fact that HE DID CAUSE that criminal's death. Don't tell me the wind would have had a parachute to blow him straight to that truck if the ML wouldn't have made him jump of the plane. Death loves consequences.. but at the same time ignores them.

1. i get that it was a game (so for it to be a game he had to have the possibility to win) but for that pain (which they very skillfully designed along the plot) to be truly meaningful, it must remain irreversible (at least in my opinion). No person that dies gets to live again so all the message was lost.. (the: do not die because there are no seconds to a unique life) Yeah, he did manage to continue living as his mom and in my opinion that should have been the prize... (not sure where the mom went, maybe it's a unification of consciousness in which case, let's say I buy that, but since they said 'if you do not live as yourself you are not truly alive' i guess the mom did not really live at all after that.

2. I loved the idea that it was him who made everything possible but by having Death present at the scene they kinda killed this idea. The criminal was triggered by that accident (which ML caused by being an idiot till the almost very end, and again without any care, chose suicide)... but what unleashed that sociopath in fact, was the look in the victim's eyes.. 'He looked at me as if I was a God'. ML was looking at Death at that moment, so in fact, it was Death's presence that caused that shivery trigger in the criminal, because the victim's eyes were indeed looking at a God. Again, beautiful idea but a bit badly exposed. The blame, in my opinion, does not fall on the male lead.

3. the plane landing and the detective's plan just no.. it's the weakest thing in the whole plot, badly executed and poorly connected but it's not the worst I've seen.

4. i also did not like the detective reincarnation. Too convenient.

5. i would have chosen the ending of either him jumping in front of that car : as to show he did all that to himself... or by not jumping and keep living as that man. Why? Because he was no longer owner of his own life, so the ML timeline should continue separately. Criminal would have remained hidden and many of those lives saved...

I might be picky but I am still rating this high since it was a few classes on top of many dramas touching this subject.

waaaaaaaait.. so part 1 was masterclass, part 2 went ok up till some point but hey, still I appreciate all the 'WHOA' moments it surprised me with when connecting the plot. So for that, as a whole it gets a 8.
(9.5 on the first though)

What I found odd or did not like in part 2 is the following:

Wait, how is this so similar to perfect marriage revenge aren't these 2 web novels?
Oh well, maybe one will have what the other one lacks and then we get this mixture of not remembering what scene was in which one BUT as a hole it's ok :))))

I kind like that the series makes me think yet ... she is kind of frustrating

I can see that happening if we were to consider everyone around her has a medical role in her care, much like Madhouse (which I usually think of when it comes to the Shutter Island book)
