A relationship without trust

I enjoyed the front part but not towards the end. Isn't the best romantic story, Fu Rong's distrusting Xu Jing is very frustrating. She should understand Xu Jing's character better, however, she will always suspect Xu Jin. Lack of love, lack of warmth, lack of trust. A relationship without trust is bitter. It is as if one side love (Xu Jin), a spoiled wife
The revenge is out of hand.
The ending is also not well done. Come on, what is with the electric/thunder
I in fact like Fu Xuan, the sister's story better.

The acting defeats me.

It has an interesting story line, However, sometimes I can be quite particular about acting and acting could have turned me off from continuing or enjoying it.
If I can give rating for different role, I will give Dylan Wang a 8 (he has improved in acting); A 3 for Esther Yu, I cannot feel her. Perhaps she is still new as an actress. She is like trying too hard with cuteness, innocence, crying and tears ...,or when she is switched to DongFang. As a result , I pretty much skipped most part of the show.
I think the only parts I enjoyed are some delightful scenes when the characters switched , This devil role fits well on Dylan Wang and the cuteness he tries to portray as her is more convincing.

What is true beauty?

Not bad, light hearted. With pleasant to look at "eye candies" AND with decent acting.
What bothers me is the obsession, this and few portraying pimples , eye glasses = ugly; to be beautiful = make up, surgery as solution, when there is other way to it like skin care , contact lens, wisdom, character,.... The world is not this so small and narrow. No one deserves bully because of their look.
I am not even sure if I like her character , when she can't even dare to admit SH her boyfriend, her reaction in the hospital after found out SJ was there by the side, still the look more important than boyfriend?. I am those who will be more attracted to Soo Jin's character before she turned bad as a love rival.
Finally, my favorite episode perhaps is episode 13 when she finally stands up for herself.

Who lost love forever?

I grow to like it after episode one.
There are 4 love rivals for FL, among the 5 characters, who will be losing love forever? No characters is perfect , that is how human are.
We have female lead who had lost her loved ones, been abandoned (thought she was abandoned); Male leads who are abused or tortured, another has mission to accomplish, hidden agenda. Selfishness, low esteem, insecurity, not trusting, the male leads and the female lead, eventually they could possibly losing someone they love or cherish.
That is what makes me hooked to this story, can't hate any main character. It stirs my emotion, thought. Superb , expressive acting. It has its depth. One of my favorite line (from her father) : hurt is done under name of "love"
I would prefer gentle and warm one like Seventeen., he has his own issueor weakness as well. While another was abused when young and can be abusive, but grow to love, in a wrong way, not expressive and perhaps could be one that makes me torn apart, Isn't that one of the ways , we could be losing someone we like/love?
If you are asking for a show full with action and fighting, fast moving, this may not be one; if you are about romance, you may like it, not super fast, but each episode has something to deliver. (it is not steamy hot, instant noodle kind of romance; but it still has some moments that warm your heart and put a smile with taste of sweetness. It may take time to see how things developed , why the characters could have such behaviours.)
Overall I am liking it, how the story progress, hopefully it will not rush to end or ending badly done. (quite a number of time, I was disappointed by the badly done ending or editing).

They have popular stars, that is about it?

When I knew this was another story about a controlling/dominant CEO, I hesitated.
I still give it a try since it has Bai Lu and Dylan.
I find the series has the popular stars , but the rest does not impress me. The story is not interesting and it keeps dragging. I don't know if it is the script or the director, I can't feel/see how their love developed.
What is with phone ringing every time when they are about to kiss? If the FL is not ready, can 't they make her telling ML she isn't ready? Why always overuse the phone ringing or 3rd party as interruption? Once may be OK, but this one, multiple times. It is tiring to watch.
The characters, how they handle love are frustrating me as well. ( I might like them better when they are handling work and rival).
Their 'love" may start to show some progress near episode 20 , but I am already worn out and losing my interest with this show.

Childhood love

The novel and movie is about bully and is a tragedy. I am relieved that the drama is less heavy.

The TV version is about childhood friendship developed into love with some meaningful dialogue. Had more sad moments.
I am not that into Zheng Shuang's acting though,...quite unnatural in most parts, , anyway, she did a good job at the part when character lost her mom.
Ending is rushed as well. Other than the mentioned, overall it is quite touching story, with songs that can build up emotions.

One of my favorites

It is still one of my favorite K-dramas. The story is different from others. Love between an alien and a human, so I am not going to go with logic, and just enjoy what it can offer. Only wonder if it would be better if DMJ does not have that kind of reaction after kissing.
It has fun and cute, romantic and sad moments. "full package" . Some conversation, inserting some classic plot from ET is epic.
Jun Ji Hyun did a good job in this role, who is sassy, can be ruthless at times, yet adorable , it is difficult not to like this character
I will recommend this, it is definitely entertaining

Mission vs love

When it started , I eagerly waited for new episode every day.
LiSuSu, FL carries a mission to save the world from DG. In accomplishing the mission, she falls in love with the devil fetus.
This is journey of love for both ML and FL, ML starts to develop feeling through dream , which evetually change his fate.
I basically like the story, since it is different; the music is to the point (one of the series with almost all songs I like). The acting is superb especially by LYX, ML, he nails his character.
It has lots of details, so do not recommend skipping, been seeing lots of confusion on why things have to happen this or that way. (which actually explained in plot if pay attention)'.
Only drawbacks , why I am not giving full score, hmmm they should reduce the blood spitting. I wish they will extend the ending, more touch on ML's ending, guess it is left open ending, what a cliff hanger.

Refreshing, I like it

Tired of dominant ,controlling ,aloof CEO type of story?
Tired of time travel story?
Tired of the typical love scene, male lead catching the female lead on time and then spinning or she fell right on his lips?
I am , so this story is refreshing for me. An eunuch with a woman whom emperor has eyes on.
It started in more serious mode, but I do like the lovey scenes toward the middle of the show. Finally , this is something different - different characters, unexpected dialog and reaction, not some typical scenes we had seen many times. lol, I enjoy the show especially middle part so much.
I like YinLo's character- bold, witty, she knows what she wants and she will follow her heart.
Honestly, Dylan Wang's acting has improved a lot, richer emotion and expression.
I hope it will only get better.
*They shouldn't have cut some of the scenes, I will wait for the version with uncut scenes if there is any

Don't miss this

It has been a while, I have not enjoyed a series like I have for this. I like main characters, the supporting crews.
The plot can be serious and entertaining the same time.
It covers romance, love and sacrifice for the country, friendship , with some touching and meaningful dialogue.
The love between an assassin and group leader started when the assassin wanted to have a baby with the group leader who has character, quality that fits her expectation, love developed as they worked together as team to save the emperor who was held hostage. I have to say this is one kind of love I would envy, more than some modern love stories I have watched lately. Supporting each other, trusting , respect with some meaningful and Not cheesy dialogue. I am convinced about their love.
The supporting crews are interesting too. The fighting scenes are well made.
I am glad to find this series to fill my time.
****Spoiler alert*******The ending may not be well liked and kind of rush, not as good as front part, but it is war time, no matter how great the fighters they are, they are still a small group against a huge troop army before the help arrives, it is a tough battle (I will not pick on few loopholes, as overall, it is well made). The little boy most likely from someone who named their kids , as remembrance of their heroic sacrifices and legacy (the boy mentioned uncle Ding, another squad member). They live in memory.

Love , hate relationship

Unlike most , what gets on me is the "super natural" power of the wolf, however the story gets better as it goes.
Perhaps some people may be annoyed and disappointed as how the wolf treats the princess , it takes patience to see how it unfolds, one to understand each character, their upbringing, what they went through, the culture to understand their behavior and why it so.
Darren Wang as a rather new actor in drama, fit the role of cold, fierce Bo Wang, and the innocent side of LangZai. The emotion, the love hate relation tug at my heartstring, It has been a while , I have not experienced this kind of emotion ride as most of the shows I have watched recently are those heroes who are always there just in time to protect, treat their heroines with attention, care , love....
The ending is somehow not so convincing.
If you have seen the same review somewhere, I am the same author of the following comment

*SPOLIER ALERT*
Bo Wang is the team leader, part of the team and the team killed her family. He knows Xinger wants to revenge, he is split in between. I had thought along how likely people would react if you could be part of the tragic of your loved one. Which is a better way to help someone grow on strategy and strength- always there to protect, always purposely losing to her or via versa?
The emperor has paranoid personality, when Xinger thought 2nd prince was the culprit of the family massacre, she confronted the emperor, what would it be like when she knows the truth, most likely she would have been killed before she can revenge. (emperor behind the scheme. At that point, Xinger is indeed too weak and soft hearted to stand against the cunning emperor).
Bo Wang's "cruelness", stays to deceive and prevent the emperor from doing more harm , the emperor was lured to go to the war with his troops . He shifted the massacre blame from team to himself, hoping that will lift the hatred/revenge from her shoulder with his death (perhaps it can be stupid or there is a better way to do it. Original plot is he is indeed the one who conducted the massacre, perhaps staying with this plot will be more convincing , which however could mean that the couples will be more unlikely to be together)

World of deity

This show is long since it tries to tell from the beginning on how the two main characters met. It may be boring in the first 20 episodes, it gives details on the events and I think it will be better if it does not include Bai Feng Jiu's narration and acting when she is in form of fox, which is the part I dislike most about this show.
The main characters , the supporting characters are interesting. There are quite a number of funny, witty quotes that make my days.
There are cute , sweet and sad moments, story is something different in the world of deity.
My favorite part is the story of Aranya dream, it is made perfect, Feng Jiu knows Xi Ze is Di Jun (which is different from novel). They both are the perfect choice to portray these characters. In fact, I am still not tired of rewatching episodes 20 -last episodes

Bad character, but not really

The main character Li Xun is talented, but can be arrogant and blunt. It is hard to like character such as this. However, if you can stay with it, you will find out more as the story unfolds.
Spoiler alert
He is mean to to Chu Yun (but in later part you will find out he knows her a while back and the reason behind). For a really bad character , he won't make so much effort to save his mom, he won't put himself at risk for sister; he won't plead for friend who is expelled. Provide finance support to his friend. Even the lighter has its own story.
He won't give false hope to girl who likes him (there is a way you can tell he is aware of Chu Yun's room mate interest). That is his character - he cares, but he may not say it. He has a dangerous side- a law breaker for his loved ones, I hope he will change , learn to handle things differently, that the drama will show character grows as it goes.
Perhaps the person he shouldn't hurt so much or at least respect is Gao, otherwise won't contribute to what happened at later part, the price he has to pay far more than what he owed Gao. Hopefully they will reconcile at the end.
So far so good, don't give up the show when he appears to be a "bad guy" in the beginning , as the story unfolds, you get to know the character better, it brings me tears. Not overdone, not over sentiment.
Especially don't miss episode 17

Fast moving and funny

This is my second show that is about e sport romance , after love 020 .
It is different from love 020 , I did not read the novel, and I also do not play that much of games, perhaps it is part of the reason I can enjoy the show better without doing comparison.
I am not sure if I would like Chessman's character in real life, however in the show, I like how he is bickering and teasing Tong Yao, he can be harsh and ruthless with his words, caring on another hand . The dialog can be witty (eg. I don't expect he would introduce himself as Chessman to her parents) and the team member's reaction is funny too.
I wish I can enjoy the game parts better, it is unclear to me who plays what character in the game and how they win their game. A lot of time I have to rewind to understand the game part ,
Hopefully it gets better , not the other way round, like some of the shows started good but with chaos ending.

Playboy vs refined lady

When a playboy is attracted by a refined lady, he wants to change to a better person. I don't buy the idea that it is easy for playboy to change his character when he falls in love, especially it is a bit drastic on his change, but I do enjoy this lightful drama so far.
This show can be funny especially when it comes to the interaction between the father and son, mother and son. Perhaps is what I enjoy most m=so far, more than the romance.
It is fast moving, it doesn't take way too long for the couples to realize their own feeling, so it is less "torturing" to wait for the sweet moments. :)
