guys don’t worry Jae I definitely dies at the end (saving the fl probably) but let’s just enjoy the drama…
Having Jae In in the story is totally fine, the drama needs a villain and he is actually a key villain. The problem is when the audience roots for him and ships him with FL bc he is a hot guy. Bc a hot guy can do whatever he wants, to the point of being cruel. As if being abusive and mean is some kind of turn on. Heck no.

Out of currently airing dramas I'm watching, To My Beloved Thief is the most I like. -Eunjo and Yeol are so good…
I think ML-FL in Idol I are equals, communicate well and are a great team, and Lomon just started treating the Fox well in No Tail to Tell and they seem to started communicating and being a great team. There is hope :) This drama too is a pretty good example of great teamwork and honest communications. They still lie to each other sometimes but it is not sooo bad.

Y’all acting like she had time to be a warrior or something. IDC how strong or legendary Gil Dong is — in…
The mother instinct is NOT to freeze when you see a fire arrow coming to you, but to RUN with that baby to safety. But whatever - let's say she blanked out - which is NOT motherly instinct and NOT something Gil Dong would do...

In any case, I am super tired of scenes where a victim just stands there watching a car or something coming to hit them. it is just a very boring and awful trope and for some "unexplained mysterious reason" happens to female characters and just rarely to males.

Just make the character RUN!!! and if you want the truck or fire arrow to hit them, make the character slip and fall and get caught. Or faint from the shock. Or not run fast enough. Or get distracted with something and lose it. Or get scared and start shivering and just stop. Or whatever else would work... "Paralyzed from the shock" is indeed one legitimate choice, BUT it seems to be THEONLY choice scriptwriters used so far. with very rare escaping, rolling away, or A MAN PULLING THE WOMAN TO THE SIDE TO SAVE HER

If a man is going to be helpful, there is a proper way to do it..... not make a Superman who is superior, smarter, stronger, and overall the guardian, sugar daddy, AND babysitter to the loser dumb child in adult female body. But she is pretty and he gets to fu.k this child and that is why he is protecting her. Common, let us stop this mysogenic brainwash,

Who is the half naked dude being beaten up by the BAD GUY in ep 8 min 8??? is that the killer?? The killer actor is now ML in daily First Man where he is always poker faced. This is the first scene ever where I saw that actor showing emotion and vulnerability. If that is him.

wait he’s gonna remarry his wife again i thought lang Jin ah is the FML 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m just gonna leave…
we will see... he needs her help and she is interesting to the drama bc she likes him and tries to grab him, and is experiencing a redemption arc and acting all that quite well and in a very comedic way.... and ... has really nice legs so she is a nice addition to the screen :) so yeah she will be on the screen until the end. Will they fall in love is ... not really important for the drama, imo

I still do not trust she will totally turn a new chapter i.e. I question IF they can even have a relatiinship . We will see :)

Tbh this is exactly how you’re supposed to act after a rebirth. He has that smug/mischievous “I know something…
But that face "I know something you dont!" is his signature style and he wears THAT face almost 100% of the time in his acting and takes you on a tour of stuff he is exposing - and that is why I am not really his fan. I miss the ACTING

I have one-line summary of Jae-In's character:
He is ... hot looking and also angry hot to the point of 1st degree burns.. someone who burns you literally to death. Not someone who warms you up and keeps you warm and vibrantly alive.

YES since the swap he is FANTASTIC. I was going to mention to that and forgot. Thanks for reminding me. He was…
yeah you can get some serious makjang chaos hilarious out of that :) but also... not knowing allowed him to show his true colors and become a prominent character. e.g. when he was talking to ML in FL body and telling "her" not to mess up his boss or else...
So I wonder HOW LONG they will be swapping? all their lives?? if so, he will have to know :)

yes, exactly! and that worries me. her behavior shows she is s clueless naive person, and also entitled. She likes ML and I am really concerned she will try to grab him by manipulating the queen and ML and by backstabbing FL

I am enjoying this series so much. On ep 3 and laughing.... Omg this drama is soooo funny LMAO rom ep 2 on, the script is hilarious and the actng is hilarious. And also deep. That controlled back and forth between total hilarious CHAOS to deep serious moments - is soooo regreshingly funny

I was rolling off my chair with the scenes of them doing the internal communication software in 3 days. FL actress is ... so funny..... Albert actor is an amazing comedian... And the others too.... That scene when FL feeds the software guy LMAO Albert gets up to box LOL omg omg omg omg I love this series ....

FL actress is a mystery to me. She actually does not act well. There are many scenes where it is obvious she is pretending and acting. She acts makjang and totally overdoes the scenes. But .. for some reason - which I am trying to figure out why - I find it INCREDIBLY interesting to watch her. She somehow catches me and hooks me on. Is it ... her presence? Or her totally knowing what she is doing and then pulling me in to watch her shenanigans? In any case, I am GLUED TO THE SCREEN to see what the next shenanigan is.....
OH I GET IT WHY.... her acting totally matches the scenes - she acts all emotions necessary, she just mostly overdoes them, ** but not always **. For example, scenes with her ex are dead serious for real. But scenes in making software are are total makjang clowning CHAOS LMAO and getting dragged by her officemates after the disciplinary meeting is a combo of both.... So we kinda know when she is clowning and when she is showing us a really important message and scenes... And she ALWAYS expresses different kinds of feelings. She accentuates the feelings... She makjang-ish scoffs or rolls her eyes... and she "as if in real life" stares at the CEO when summoned...
So she is always engaged in showing SOME kind of *different* emotion.... Unlike Ji Sung who is also a jester but he always acts the same, so I do not find him interestinig.

The use of makjang in this drama is hilarious... Like that scene in ep 3 just before they get paychecks, when they are informed they got new work, and their reactions OMG LMAO It is serious but makjang is used to show how they really feel and it is HILARIOUS it is brilliant

so that is why FL actress style is so catchy... we always clearly see her (and everyone else's around her) true feelings.

FL is really fantastic.
Albert is ridiculous LMAO but Albert actor is somehow pulling it off as genuine LOL It is incredibly funny. I found a new fav actor. He too goes between clowning and serious acting at will ... and it is just amazing acting.
FL's boss as usual is a total riot LOL One of my fav actors for a good reason :) He is amazing
NoRa is really dumb... but is really cute and honest. That actress is really good looking.
Manager Bo or Go - what is her name? the roommate - is really interesting...

I am having a great time with this drama. It is a real GEM. it is soooo refreshingly funny....
It is a total clown comedy yet it is very serious and deep at the same time. So good.

As for ML...
the script made him a very honest, kind, smart, wise and capable person, and the actor really brought all the complexities of that character - who had to OVERCOME his entitlemend, arrogance, naivette, and all that. This is masterful acting of a very capable actor who is bringing various shades of 'spoiled brat growing up into a nice man." That actor had the range of expressions to portray that. It is a very sophisticated actor who was able to catch the small nuances and make comedy of it and make expressions that convey various complex and deep feelings, and say his lines with utmost "make believe" convincing way. Great actor. There is no acting, there is no "I am pretending" there is "I AM this character, and this character is alive"

How he treats FL is quite exemplary for 21st century, really. He communicates honestly and considerately and tries to work things out. yeah it is a good script, but without an actor who CAN ACT IT, the script is useless. ML actor brought it to life.

ML is the adult in this story. (And not perfect LOL there is dueling and some other small details where he is immature egoistical dumb).
FL is still immature in too many ways. 2ML is an idiot. 2FL is a naive goose and possibly entitled jealous greedy.

ML's mother, FL's father, are just egoistical helicopter parents.

As for Jae In -
Actor Min Gi is doing a great job of portraying psycho cruel greedy toddler Jae In., and so Jae In is annoying many people with his bad behaviors. Jae In is also swooning some with his attention via violence.

The actor is good looking so Jae In is good looking, so immature fans think that Jae In's "attention" via violence is hot. Nope, it is NOT hot for Jae In to be so cruel mean destructive. Jae In is abusive and a murderer now too. THat's what many are saying.

The reality is, Jae In is creating some super bad karma and has to be held responsible. What he did at the end of ep 8 is intentional murder of many people so that he can get what he wants - FL as concubine. That is not love, it is a psychotic toxic obsession of a very weak, confused, immature, AND mean person.

Nothing personal, but Jae In has serious mental and emotional issues, as he thinks that he is so special that his life situation requires destroying lives of others and his own life. Jae In is IGNORANT to the point of willingly harming others .... and himself.

So the drama will milk it and somehow he will have to pay for his wrongdoings bc it is drama LOL In real life, Jae In could easily become another Genghis Khan and kill soooo many ppl and keep creating chaos and suffering. He would marry FL and abuse her.

Jae In is effectively a villain. Hopefully one day he will make a U turn and grow up. Or not. Maybe he dies or gets exiled if he doesnt want to clean up his bad karma. ...

So JaeIn will probably stay on the screen until the end, bc he is good looking and some audience likes mysogony and psychotic abuse by good looking guys (like in Boys Over Flowers).
Hopefully very soon and definitely by the end, it would be clear if he stays a villain or not.

To have the redemption arc, Jae In actor needs to act a lot more than just being a closed down poker face villain, he has to have the skillZ to express a transformation

It is easy to act a bully. You just keep a poker face. To act transformation and/or to act as a complex villain requires so much more finesse. So let us see that. This is really a challenge for that actor to grow into more complex roles that involve expressing a wider range of emotions.
Yeah sure he is good looking guy and can look mean. But can he also look ... happy? confused? vulenrable? considerate? caring? Sad? smitten? ... Also, a more complex villain is more interesting to watch :) Just a poker face/angry villain is kinda too simple :)

maybe Jae In is not willing nor able to go there and will stay a SIMPLE bad character to the end. That is also a cheesy way to keep the ML too simple as the contrast is too obvious - the good guy ML and bad guy 2ML. But .... to make it really interesting... ML should have faults that he overcomes - which ML already did - and Jae In should have some traces of humanity and struggle with his afflictions and violence and ... win or lose that internal battle. We will see.

So if we are going to be swooned by Jae In, the proper way is to see him struggle to get free of his afflictions, so that we can root for him, and at the end, he could win or lose the inner battle but at least he tried, and we can either cry that he lost, or celebrate that he transformed.

Right now, he is not trying NOR willing, so we cannot root for him at all. We can only root that he finally wakes up and has a desire to try. But he is not showing any signs of any inclination to do so - he says he is an animal and kills a whole village without even blinking, he keeps getting worse and worse, so... the situation is bleak. He might not make it bc he simply does not want to..

There is nothing to root for Jae In YET. As is, he is on the chopping block as a lost case, so far. It can change in a second, but it has NOT changed yet. So I am waiting before I root for him.

RIght now, Jae In is willingly a villain who thinks of nothing of murdering people to benefit himself.

So this famous Gil Dong canNOT run away from a fire arrow... ??? gimme a break/ The script was DUMB. FL is written as insecure and often dumb, but to this point... heck no.

Nothing personal to the script writer - I think that creating a script by stupid woman and a guy saving her - is sheer trash.

ML saved her like a Superman. SO CHEESY STUPID>

He could have saved her in a different way. For example, opened the gate as she was running away, or something like that. It is ok that he saves her - it is give and take, sometimes she saves him and sometimes he saves her. So it is ok he saved her that night. But not like that!!!!! Not she just closing her eyes waiting to be struck, instead of escaping!!!!

Now we have the SAME OLD STUPID MYSOGENIC SITUATION - A DUMB LOSER FL SAVED BY SUPERHUMAN ALWAYS PROTECTIVE ALWAYS SUPERIOR ML

I hate this trope with passion. I think that trope is a trashy mysogenic BRAINWASHING

DISCLAIMER written later: I dont think the entire drama is mysogenic. Just those details. Which makes me worried the drama will go in the wrong direction. ... So far, it did not, thank god for that...

But accept it or not a character like this that will gain attention from Korean fans. Mingi name listed on most…
I think the character's bad behavior HAS to be called. IT is a part of commenting on the drama. That is our reaction to that character - we dislike him bc he is mean psycho destructive

It says nothing about the actor except that he is acting that role well.

The actor is good looking so Jae In is good looking, so immature fans think that Jae In's violence is hot. Nope it is not hot for Jae In to be so cruel mean destructive. THat's what many are saying.

I am just watching ep 8 and Jae In is willingly killing a whole village. WHAT do you think his karma is for doing something so monstrous?

Nobody hates that actor or his character... and he is hot :) we all give him that... but the character is too…
Yeah Min Gi is great as Jae In

I do not love Jae In LOL at all.... I feel compassion and sympathy for Jae In, but I totally dislike his behavior, especially since he KNOWS he is insecure and greedy and acting out of greed, he said so!!!! and so he doesnt deserve my love until he shows desire and willingness to start healing. I think he has good traits, like him dissing his "father" for finding a trivial cause to take out Grand Prince - that was a noble thing he said - but other than that, he is too immature and too mean and too destructive. He destroys FL and others to get his way. That is NOT ok.

I think Jae In is an interesting complex role and it adds drama to the drama, and it is realistic someonw like that would be meddling, so that role has a place, but I cannot say I like him. he is essentially a villain.

Unless Jae In shapes up ASAP, i am voting to exile him :)
