Yes that's legal channels but ppl go to places with good hospitals and cheap organs... like.. .India... Or probably can offer huge perks to a donor and up their name on the list... or just buy an organ - Dir Ko has $$$$ so how come she is not using it... ?

Dir Ko is doing everything illegally, how come the ONLY legal thing she is doing is to go through the legitimate donation channels at Korean hospitals... ?

Those loan sharks in dramas sell organs they collect as payment ..... :(

Just to illustrate: there is one female teenager I know who talked on Facebook with another young teenage boy. A very nice young lady and very smart, from a great family, good student, etc. She kept her facebook friend secret. He had great stories, he was a good student, good kid, etc. I dont remember if he was someone she knew from school or just a "charming cool hot dude" she met online.
Then the young boy introduced her to an older male who was still rather young, and then they made an appointment to meet in real life. She kept it secret.
Luckily her dad saw her facebook and stopped it. He informed police and it turned out SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN WHISKED AWAY INTO SEX / ORGAN TRADE.

So please tell me if she is good hearted and smart, or just naive, or what?

EH is doing the same thing now. SHE KEPT DIR KO SECRET FROM HER FAMILY. THat is a basic no-no in family life. It is a VERY stupid behavior.

Well ok let us nitpick. EH is an intelligent person and she is a competent professional. So yes technically speaking she is not a stupid person overall. I agree with you.
HOWEVER: you can be a PhD from Harvard and be totally stupid for life. If a PhD from Harvard puts their fingers into an electrical socket, they ARE stupid. Engaging in risky activities IS stupid. That is what EH is doing...

EH is not "innocent", she is just NAIVE and GULLIBLE, and in real life, that amounts to being stupid. Or acting stupid, or making stupid mistakes, etc. It is being dumb and stupid. Not smart for life.

A person just cannot engage in risky reckless behaviors and call themselves "smart".

EH knows NOTHING about Dir. Ko ... plus EH did not talk to her mother about it... and even lied to her mother.... !!!! That is terribly terribly stupid

EH is doing something terribly dumb, navigating this territory without any external advice and help and being super gullible - and lying to her mother, who is the first person that should have known about this. Lying to her mother is THE most stupid thing EH could have done.

EH right now is doing somethiong that is not ok. Keeping secrets from her mother, hanging out with Dir Ko without any information, etc.

There is a think line between EMPHATETIC AND GULLIBLE and EH has no clue where the line is. She right now is super gullible and a victim of a SCAM.

Dir Ko is a formidable scammer, she is super experienced in that, and EH has no chance alone against that.

Will JH help to save her? I hope so. But more than anything, I HOPE THAT EH BECOMES SMART AND WISE AND LEARN TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT PEOPLE AND NEVER TO KEEP SUCH IMPORTANT SECRETS FROM HER FAMILY

This drama is totally riveting!!! the acting is REAL, the script is amazing, tight, and the filming is great, it is such an excellent drama!!!

I am glad the son is not stuck with a pregnant HaNa - but maybe will be discovered leter :) I love what he told them at the end.... and I love his new company :) I just wonder if HaNa should be a part of it....

Ms. Kim is a hot mama and I wish her all the best, I am sure she will be EXCELLENT, bc she knows how to ignore rude ppl and to get her way :)

So ... for al practical purposes, it is kinda the same as "netlix original"

I like that FL looks like a real woman, who eats food every day, not like a starving child from Africa, like her sister in this drama and many kdrama actresses.... No wonder S Korea has the lowest natality rate in the world... Female hormones work ONLY if there is at least 22% body fat... and of course mucles.... So I love seeing the healthy strong FL in this drama.

I also like that ML has muscles and has muscular legs too.... ... So many male actors are way too skinny and those pants are barely hanging on them... and then they cannot move and generally do not seem very energetic... more like the urban slow.... This ML moves so well and HAS a body, so the clothes look better on him too.

I think only gay men like skinny guys. I think straight women are men are more impressed with a guy who has muscles and a strong body and can *move* swiftly and elegantly

So what's up with S Korea and this fashion that women have to look like starving children from Africa and even men too.... ????

It is JW's fault never to tell the step father or nobody... and to blidly follow his mother... Sorry .. but... JW threw himself under the bus and EH is too frail to be donating even one drop of blood...

If EH gives her liver, even if it is for her good old friend JW, I am dropping this drama as hopeless. There is no use in watching someone so dumb.
It is not comical like Woman Who Swallowed the Sun where the stupidity of characters is unbeliavable and rather ... without any consequnce. It is really a cartoon where nothing bad happens anyways. When I feel like it, I can fast forward through episodes when I want to learn about how much humans can be stupid and it is SO STUPID that it is almost comical.

I am carefully watching this drama for the plot and acting, it HAS MEANINGFUL CONTENT and I rally like that, so if not that, I drop it.
Giving EH's liver and jeopardizing LIFE of EH is just going too far with dumbness. It is not a cartoon anymore but a life threatening situation. Making EH "a good person" for doing that would be an utmost abuse. I hope the script writer didnt try that route. Maybe Korean audience would be impressed with that level of self sacrifice for the common good, but I doubt even that, it does not match the context of this drama...

Also EH will want to meet her twin brother...
and.... SJ is already given the position of the VP, so JW has no chance of getting that job.. and he has no interest either...

At least this drama is some improvement on the old ones, the sexism is lessening as EH is at least very competent professionally and as a family member, and she is self reflective and speaks up her mind, and ML is also made to be more considerate and complex and not 100% superman with no flaws like in the past dramas, so overall, it is somewhat better than it used to be, so that is good. Overall, this drama imo is very good, on its own. It is a very realistic portrayal of real life as it is today..

When you take it in the context of all asian dramas, where all of them create plot on the dumbness of FL and a capable ML saving her, then the big pattern shows extreme undervaluing of women.

In the drama world, that leads to very shallow and boring plot with very shallow and boring FL roles and super shallow and boring acting... i.e. female actresses are underutilized and boring to watch and the plot is too predictable cliche and too boring

the SOCIETY and also the dramaworld have a LONG way to go to overcome the inherent deep sexism and treating women as brainless incapable creatures, as if women are little naive children. Even if a woman is active in her actions and a villain, like in Graceful Liar, she is still a dumbo who gets saved by a guy. And only bc he wants to fuc@ her, to be blunt, his only reason is bc he "loves" her.

Western media is even worse, bc sexism is more camouflaged, under supposed "freedom" in promiscuity, looking like a Barbie doll with makeup and pushup bra, and being ... dumb. I have up on them long time ago. Nothing meaningful to see there.
Kdramas at least are meaningful and show some deep issues with a certain warmth and positive solutions.

Hm Director Ko was relieved that EH did not remember her brother. Wow is Jin really her son... ??? or why is she so happy that EH does not remember....? what really happened back then...???
WHY is EH keeping bio mom secret from her adoptive mother? I am really upset about that... Bc ... that will be the end of EH if she does it.... **** The thing is, Director Ko is super wealthy adn CAN BUY A LIVER ANY TIME so why ask for EHs?? ****** EH is so tiny and frail...
Also, SJ is doing a great job at work and already declared a VP so there is no use of trying to get sickly JW, who has no interest in running the company, to take over....

DIRECTOR KO IS A SUPER GREEDY CRIMINAL

On a positive note, imo SJ and SB are such a gorgeous pair, they are both so good looking, and they really really "match" visually and energetically. Since he is kicking, they are entering into a dark phase, but they should be a super fun pair bc she is so fun and he has a knack for going with it
And YR-youngestBrother are a great pair too, and super fun. What YR's mom did to her - "you have no talent and cannot paint" is a spiritual murder.... The couple is going to enter into "physical murder" zone when Director Ko gets a whiff of them....

I didnt get that idea. Someone wrote they didnt like it and you said you wont watch it. To me, that means you are basing your decision on the opinion of one or two people who replied to you here. As an art lover, I am totally dumbfounded.
