yeah JH is an adoration seeker and will do all kinds of stuff for that.
YR was interesting to her as long as YR was looking up to JH

I think in some regards it is trash writing and in other ways, it is a **** realistic real life very common toxic trash story **** about **** ordinary people who are toxic out of their immaturity and blindness ***** it challenges our views on friendship, love, family, etc etc AS WE WATCH OURSELVES IN THIS DRAMA....

- and since it is so murky and complex, it really electrifies and polarizes the audience. Do you realize how many ppl said that JP is a great guy, that JH is a wonderful friend, and that YR was cunning person who backstabed and stole from JH?
ALL fat butts JaePils, and all entitled selfish looking for adoration JHs, and all insecure doormat servants YR, they are all confused...

and those people who have seen the JP, the JH, the YR in themselves already and faced it and made it more clear, those ppl have more clear insight...

JP JH YR are all in us, we have such parts in us, and this drama speaks about the EPIDEMIC of those parts in the society. Some posts I read here totally shocked me by their ignorance

So to me, the value of this drama is exposing the trash toxic parts of our social norms so that it can be discussed

I am so utterly shocked by non-physical nature of so many ppl who wonder why JH is avoiding physical touch with EH and why is he "suddenly" crushing on EH.
Hello!!! Watch ep 1 again, where he jumps out and chases someone who harassed EH. A man who does that is not acting for a friend. He liked her.

JH loved EH from the beginning, just was too frozen to know it.
He melted a bit now so he is starting to feel.

AND when you like someone, you want to touch them and grab them, that is natural - isnt it for you???? - it is natural for anyone who is healthy!!!!! -

and he is trying to avoid her from coming close bc he could fall for the temptation and grab her, and that would be no good... esp since he is male, his enthusiasm will be very visible.
so he avoids her.

She feels that she has an upper edge so she keeps coming too close... but she is not aware of it. TO her, it is just like a little play

And she, being so thin frail and non-physical, does not understand it. She is too skinny and weak and just cannot feel her own body, or maybe bc she is so skinny, her hormones do not even work.

So they are going to be a mismatch, an athletic physical guy and a fragile non-physical thing all bones no muscles . THis relationship aint moving unti she starts working out, where she COULD match him. Otherwise she is a nice little toy but unusitable for a lover.

Your post is very significant as it shows how used we are to toxicity - "friendship" to most humans means standing up for someone even if they are lying or doing bad things

Yes sure her background was bad... and so she is a wounded immature person..... that's ok ... BUT IT DOES NOT JUSTIFY HURTING OTHERS - she hurt JP badly by inviting him on a date to dump him, and then YR by noticing she likes JP and still asking her to help her snatch him, and then butting into the peagant just bc YR has JP and enetered a peagant.

JH IS NOT A NICE PERSON. Being wounded and flawed is one thing - YR is also wounded and flawed - but is a nice person, to the point of being a doormat.

Keep the concepts separate. Being wounded and immature does not mean you are allowed to do whatever you want. Many serial killers are wounded and immature. ****

I think it is a fantastic drama with fantastic acting and a very toxic plot which definitely is necessary to expose how ppl think - as you can see, so many think that JH or JP are nice ppl doing everything right and many think that YR never did anything stupid

I watched cdramas to study this and I still stay by my opinion. The humor in cdramas is not sophisticated nor tun to me. ANd it is never warm and light

I agree that JP's confession was mostly crocodile tears and I am not fully trusting his words....

His confession is ensuring that his personal servant stays by his side to keep him comfortable. He likes THAT. I wonder if he likes HER.

Also, he is unwilling to risk himself. He confessed even that much ONLY because he was sure she wanted him. If she didnt put that radio thing on, perhaps he would still be hiding.

I am not convinced by his confession. HE IS NOT GIVING ANYTHING. HE IS TAKING.

So he has 2 episodes to demonstrate and prove his love and devotion.

Carrying her bags and being kind are just his ways to keep her stuck for him, giving her crumbs of hope. He doesnt LOVE her. If he did, he would behave very differently, with enthusiasm for HER

I dont see his enthusiasm. Just saying - I like your selfless service to me, so please stay. So I see his need for her servant services. But I dont see his love for the PERSON.
