yeah this drama makes me think of a deeper issue - when do we THINK we love someone, and when do we REALLY love them? Imo JP thinks he loves JH and he deeply cares for her in many ways but we all know it is shallow. WHY do we know that? What makes us conclude that?
you seem to be an aspiring screen writer :) but if you claim there are million ways then suggest them :) Imo the…
I invite you to watch Oh My Ghost Clients kdrama to see12 episodes about brutal accidents at workplace bc of poor safety practices - so common in cheap places and so common for big companies
For me, it's definitely the opposite. The bus company storyline was a breath of fresh air in K-dramas, and frankly,…
I totally agree with this post... I think this drama is a powerful social commentary and those scenes esp, and also a testimony to the iron-clad nature of YR and her leadership abilities and wisdom
From my personal point of view, I think that she loved her friend more than him. Personally, I think that their…
Oh I see, I agree, it is selfish to dump and hurt him so that she can keep her friend I thought it was dumb to dump him bc YR likes him so he is unavoidable in their lives...
I think we differ in the opinion why she broke up. Just like you I think it is to keep the friend, and I also think she wanted the friend to have a better shot at it - but she also did not want to see JP again or to deal with it LOL - but she also liked his attention and a boy toy attention ... I thnk she liked him and would have dated him more
I think she is confused LOL and doesnt really know what she is doing LOL and is just slimely trying to run away from any trouble LOL but is getting herself, her friend, AND the guy, into a lot more trouble and murky waters.A typical immature woman. Very typucal for younger ones :)
Mom is guilty of thinking should she go with the Chairman or the bio dad, and luckily she DID decide on the bio dad, but then like the next day or the same day, bio dad got framed and taken to jail...
Some days later. Mom at in a car and started driving to the Chairman to ask him to allow her to bring her daughter with her into the new marriage and then WTOD crashed her car....
Not having to deal with 25-30 episodes of a clueless FL attempting to hang on to a husband, life, or family of…
Maybe the closest of what I am thinking of is FL in Love Scout? Or YR in A Hundred Memories... ? Or FL in My Troublesome Star...? or FL in Divorce Insurance? Or Eun HO in Our Golden Days?
Hm,.. the shaman FL in Haunted Palace was close to what I am thinking of.. a competent woman who solves problems and makes the world a better place and grows in the process.
The side character of long lost Sister in Once Again is the woman I would like to watch more of.
I love Legally Blonde FL. That is one healthy woman who solves her life properly and works hard at it.
Confidence Queen FL is kinda an attempt at that but she is one-dimensional cartoon character, and a liar, and the whole show is like Tom and Jerry cartoon, not real life, she is not a real woman.
Elegant Family FL was an attempt at that but again she was a "special edtion" woman, very wealthy...
My Love by My Side and Do MiSol FL adn ML insurace agent is along what I am thinking of - she had a kid in high school and had to hide it... but she was so meek and weak and insecure even as an adult...
To watch a woman who is so scared and clutzy and borderline autistic but "good" like FL in The Nice Guy, or super dumb naive and "good" like Jae In, or totally psychotic like The Defects, or dumb in trying to be avillain like Lucia in WHSTS, .... or somehow abnormal like in Queen of Tears or It is OK not to Be Ok.... Or 'special edition" women like FLower of Evil FL...

Well I wish that more FLs are written as normal, competent and successful women, living their life and growing further, overcoming any past traumas and negativity and bad choices... ...
It is ok to see a whole range of women but I cannot help to notice that "normal" women who have traumas and issues and bad choices from the past BUT STILL they go on, they are healthy, they make good choices, and keep moving forward, and resolve their lives in productive ways.. are rare as FLs. I WANT TO SEE THOSE FLs.
I agree. I don't like that she told that particular lie. It may help Jeong Won but I wish she had told her that…
I would say - everyone in this drama is a normal person, confused and making wrong choices... and some are plain villains, like the jungle beast Mom of real YC :) and seems like Chairman hudband of FL's mom. I would say that SH is also half criminal and that FL's "brother" is the only TRULY decent and moral and not confused person
I agree. I don't like that she told that particular lie. It may help Jeong Won but I wish she had told her that…
Naah... imo JaeIn was a major dumbo annoying moron until like ep 35,,,,, I kept watching bc I had nothing better to do and I was FRUSTRATED
So it REALLY intrigues me... why was JaeIn likeable alghough she was such a moron whose neglect and blindness led to death of her father, son, and Do Hee,
and ppl find Eun Ho from Our Golden Days so annoying just because she requested explanation for being brutally dumped.
John Cho is fantastic actor
I think some of the appeal of Paik is his EYES, with strong attention
Imo JP thinks he loves JH and he deeply cares for her in many ways but we all know it is shallow. WHY do we know that? What makes us conclude that?

I smell some real sexist double standards...
