and the wife sat into a car - or took a taxi, I forgot? I think she was driving alone - going to the rich guy to ask if she can bring her daughter to the marriage, and on the way there, she got hit by a truck.

I think both throwing man into jail for 5 years and hitting woman with a truck was to make sure that the woman totally loses her family and comes to the rich guy
I could bet that THE RICH GUY DID IT - or at least some of it

Oooh... I meant to say that I love how JH story was written by the script and how JH actor acted it. I think he is an amazing actor. I dont find him physically appealing as much. His hairdo makes him look like a chicken.... So I dont watch for looks but for acting. I think he acts very well. I love his performance.
And I do like how the script is going. JH is not so rude and selfish anymore. He is cocky and confident and often vain arrogant controlling delusional etc etc etc but thats his immaturity and also some of his true charcater... he is a leader, he has a talent for business and being in charge, so be it :)
he is slowly maturing now and I love watching the process. It is comical :)

My original post says that the script writer made this. Of course it is a given that the script writer did it - and because it SELLS.
So when we say "Lucia" we do mean the script writer wrote the character Lucia that way....

I would agree with you if she somehow stopped them, removed them or in the worst case, just killed them if she really had to. If she robbed them or beat them up in a dark alley and made them change their ways, that would be an ideal. Perhaps then we could call her Robin Hood .
If she saved people from death by killing those killing them, ok, if she HAD TO kill them... .
KILLING IS NOT TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY AND SHOULD BE THE LAST RESORT.

But she took so much time effort and joy in killing people in most gruesome ways. That does make her a monster. She did NOT have to go that far. Something is really terribly wrong with her to make her go that far. She IS a monster.

Yes I found the wife very toxic and weak from the start, and I cannot see how she and ML are together. Imo it is just a very weak and toxic relationship, and she is guilty of being ... a bozo.. and he is guilty of going along for the convenience of having SOMETHING he can call stable and peaceful in his life. But it is really a stale and toxic relationship without any real communication and growth. I dont see their relationship as positive and uplifting and useful to them

At this point maybe I will settle on the opinion that the wife is simply DUMB, has low IQ, and ML loves her so he goes along with her. But heck their love is ... not the real thing. They are not growing together at all.

It is the societal pressure. This is what ppl expect, because they are fed that.... the catch 22 :) and the sad part is that most WOMEN propagate the sexism :) Kdrama Knight's Flower is a fantastic story about that

Even if the script writer has enough brains to see this and tries to disrupt this vicious cycle and serve a different story, the audience will get upset

So... breaking the cycle has to be done ... in a way that doesnt hurt the checkbook :) and that's tricky

But really art is one of the few ways it COULD even happen

That's how asian dramas work. They emphasize that women are dumb and have to totally rely on men. The sexism is obvious and disgusting.

The same thing is in western dramas, but the woman is made to do sexual things and earn her keep that way

In asian drama, the woman has to be obviously dumb and helpless

EH is made totally stupid by the script ... her reason for accepting to partner is totally totally off....
And the pathetic scenes of two women being upset that their little darling had to work... !!!! omg!!!!! They are going to kill FL's brother indirectly with their stupidities, making the kiddo into a total rotten spoiled criminal brat.

Otherwise, I loved ep 15. JH actor was great, the script is making JHstarting to mature and I love watching the process, and 2ML actor was great, he is a rather mature guy already but still a coward. he is growing too. It was so fun to watch. The ML's sister actress was great too :) I dislike watching it but that actress is really great in her spoiled brat role, totally legit LOL ML's sister has not grown one iota.... I also love watchign Driver and Moma's Girl... They both act it so well.. ... now moma's girl is starting to come alive so it is fun to watch that too.. her big eyes in creating the balerina fight...

The toxic relationship between ML's dad and mom is just nauseating. She cannot communicate. SHe nags. Then he grouches back. They are so disgusting. That house is full of muck... DINOSAURUS tar pits... someone should make a museum out of it....

Isnt it pathetic how in ep 15 the mom and sis are so upset that the little darling has to work LOL He ***is*** that way bc of the total and utmost stupidity of the main women in his life. THEY are spoiling him. ..... I am gonna make a post on this. The script is brutal towards women

Well to think of it, the entire drama was based on stupidity of ML's wife.... we got so many episodes out of it..... She really was acting dumb and toxic from the start....

and also, the naivette and ... blindness of ML who hasnt noticed.... wife's friend was around ML for soooo long..... s/he said s/he introduced many women to ML....

The writer made movie Masquerade in 2012 that was very popular. Check it out in the MDL listing. For some reason I cannot post a post with a link to MDL listing for that movie... ?? It is Joseon but has movie has western music. The ending is hopeless

I just saw end of ep 79 and start of 80.
So bozo Lucia could not say something like - "and to prove how great this is, I will randomly ask one of the watchers - come here and try this... " and then she grabs TK

Good point... he is 1000% good in figuring things out and then trying to win, but he is really bad in execution of crime ....

The only good thing about ep 79 is that Oldest Son is a super great fun party host and announcer, and TK looks awesome in coffee brown shirt and light-brown suit. The rest is utmost trash.

By the sexist script writers, FL is 1000% utterly dumb for like half of drama... but this so DUMB at ep 80???? TK is not far behind... at least he suspected ... and she did not even suspect.. !

My guess for ep 8: the policewoman and the fatass dumbo messed up LOL The police is the greatest criminal, confirmed

The DUMBNESS Of the wife just amazes me. He tells her go to crowded places - and she does run to the street - and instead of flagging some car, she runs into an empty house, as the killer watches her. SHE IS A TOTAL MORON
Perhaps the best solution is that this piece of extremely low IQ and anti-survival genetics just does not survive - since she is asking for it!!!!!, and that he gets to marry a better specimen

Good questions!!!! The same question I wonder how ML wife's friend did not kill ML and his wife...

Perhaps we are wrong and JIS dad did not JIS;s mother.... or maybe JIS is quiet since he saw her killing and did not turn her in... ? We will see :)

FL starts as a good girl but very naive, and then she catches a bully cheating her, and then she goes into a revenge mode - and she is definitely nasty herself
