Second tme was even better
I originally watched this as the episodes came out. I realy enjoyed it then. I just re-watched it straight thru and enjoyed it even more. Are the usual tropes there? Yes but something about this story just feels different to me. It is now one of my comfort go to's. I love the actors and their chemisty. My only problem is (as it is with all 10 episode Korean BL's) I wish they would add 2 more episodes so it doesn't feel quite so rushed. I can accept how quickly they go from enemies to lovers because as I re-watched it I got the feeling that they really do like each other almost from the start. I will definately be re-watching this one again! Was this review helpful to you?
I must watch shows wrong
I loved this from start to finish. I read some of the other reviews and just don't see where they are coming from. Admittedly anything I watch is for entertainment I do not and cannot pick things apart unless they are blatantly bad. Having said that, yes at times it was slow but I'm use to that as most Korean shows seem to be like that. The ending could have gone many different directions and I can get behind the one that was chosen. It made perfect sense to me. I won't say anymore as I do not want to give any spoilers. Be sure to have your box of kleenex ready though. Was this review helpful to you?

It seems to be a love it or hate drama
I read some of the reviews before deciding to give my 2 cents. It seems people either loved it or hated it. Not much in between. The people who hated it i think kinda missed the point though. I'll agree that the writing was thin at times. The writing seemed to get dristracted at times and didnt give solid resolutions to any issue. And when it did appear to it rushed by it to quickly to feel satisfied. The one thing i think a lot of people missed (or maybe im reading too much into it) is that every single "main" person in this drama was flawed. Not a single person could be deemed as a truly good or a truly bad person with the exception of Noh Hwa Young. The writers truly gave us a villain to hate. I actually appreciated this as I hate goody two shoes heroes. They don't exist. People do bad things for good reasons and vice versa. People are flawed and this drama made that abundantly clear.
After saying that this also showed the character growth of Do Bae Man and
Noh Tae Man crystal clear. Both of these men learned from the circumstances and mistakes of the past and became better for it. Should they both have been punished for those mistakes? Probably but it is still just a show not reality.
I dont know if these ramblings made sense but I'll end with I will most likely watch this again and be frustrated by the same issues but I think overall I came away feeling satisfied with the whole experience.

Holy cow what was that?!
I went from this looks ok to nope i dont like it to oh maybe I'll continue watching to this is weird to I hate this filming to I love this filming. I dont think I've ever been so all over the place watching a show! I still am not sure. I will have to watch it again just to wrap my head around it all!One thing i know for sure is it is A LOT of violence, blood, some gore. I actually turned my head a couple of times. I wasn't prepared for all of it.
There was some really intriguing filming. Especially the parts where it felt more like a video game. I loved that! The CGI at times was questionable and obvious but if you can just watch a show to watch it for the ride it isn't too bad. The english speaking actors were not the best but i feel that way most of the time there are english speaking actors in a foreign film. It always seems out of place to me most of the time.
If you are the type of person who picks movies apart and are critical you definately need to skip this one. But if you can just enjoy the ride you might enjoy it. Like i said earlier i will be rewatching just to enjoy the diferent filming styles along the way!

Almost dropped it but pushed thru
The first episode was absolutely infuriating. I was planning on dropping this 3/4 of the way thru it. I instead came to the reviews to see why I should keep watching. I was mostly convinced. I went to S2 to see how it would progress. It looked promising so back I went. I then found out the bullying was something that had actually happened. While I still found the basis of the series appalling and almost unbelievable, but knowing it was "based" in reality made me push through. I wanted to see this revenge play out because boy was it warranted! There were still parts that frustrated me to no end but overall the two leads won me over and kept me watching. Will I watch it again?Probably not. Would I suggest it for everybody to watch? Absolutely not. There are A LOT of triggering scenes especially in the first episode so be aware before you start. There are various scenes throughout that are hard to watch also.
Only you know what you can handle but know you have been warned!

Typical K-BL
I read the other reviews before watching this and was expecting a trash heap of a show. That may be why I liked it as much as I did because it wasn't any worse or any better than the typical 7 or 8 episode K-BL.I kept waitng for the cringe scenes. Still not sure which ones those were. There was one scene that did give off high school play vibes at the start.
Overall it was not bad and as with every short episode bl longer would have been better and the ending feels rushed, but that is the norm for most of the K-BL's I've watched.
The only thing I felt uneasy about was that Only One Of chose this story line as they have often been accused of queer baiting. It just seemed like an odd choice based on that.

Grab a box of tissues for this one
I really enjoyed this but my gawd I cried almost every episode. The writers built up the story lines just to tear them down and crush your soul. I'm not saying this is a negative thing beasuse the story demands it but be prepared!Having said that there were some frustrating parts where it seemed like the good guys just didn't try that hard enough and if they had a lot of sadness could have been avoided.
I rated the rewatch lower just because I don't want cry that much sgain for a while!

I really enjoyed this short series
First off I feel that most people who review on this app are tough...like actual critiques! I watch a show for enjoyment only so my thoughts come from there .I really enjoyed this 9 episode series. I felt it all wrapped up nicley in the end. Would more episodes make it better? Maybe but I also think more episodes would have started to make it conviluded and messier.
The only real issue I had with the show was how the split personaliy was portrayed at times. But again coming from a standpoint of entertainment only I let it pass.
The twist and turns kept me totally engaged. I hated to stop and having to come back later. I wanted to totally binge. But alas I have other things to do.
The acting was amazing. Each character was very believable and te actors seemed to understand their character well.
If you can watch a show without picking it apart then I feel you may really enjoy this one also.

Toxic and overrated
This was the first BL I watched. I watched it not to long after the episodes were all out. At that time I thought it was pretty good albeit problematic. Fast forward 3 years and I just rewatched it since a friend who just started her BL journey asked for recommendations. This one is not making the list!Half the cast is problematic. Except Champ - ok yeah he is my absolute favorite in this series and the next. I absolutely love his character! He's even better in the next one but sadly he cant save either of them.
Okay back to the story. For every redeeming thing that happens there are about 10 problematic things that follow. I did give this a 7 for the story because for the most part it was well written it just was a problematic story line and most things could have been handled sooooo much better.
The really sad thing is that they didnt learn anything! They do the same stupid stuff in the second one. I mean there is no trust or growth at all.
Well anyway if you decide to watch either of these you have been warned!

Downhill ride of likeability
This show started off great for me but the more I watched it the less I liked it. I didn't hate this show but there are just a lot of things that could have made it so much better. It starts off cute and sweet with the unbreakabke relationship of the two nain characters. Then you see the complete codependancy that Eiw has with Cake. This relationship is even encouraged by the families. It seems that Eiw is completely incapable of doing anything without Cake.
Then Cake moves to the US with his family and encourages Eiw to actually get a life and learn to be on his own and make friends. This is probably the only right thing done in the writing of this series.
Eiw eventually is able to take Cake's advice. They do remain friends and keep in touch well. But when Cake returns he is upset Eiw actually took his advice and he couldn't just pick up where they left off 4 years ago.
The kicker though for the whole series is the last 2 episodes turn into a "Don't Smoke" campaign. I hate being preached to in a show I am watching for entertainment. There was not enough story line in these last 2 episodes for me to even really enjoy them.
The actual highlight of this entire series for me was to see Prem playing an adult especially with Between Us just coming out. The stark contrast between those to characters was fun to see.
Please dont misunderstand I love the actors and the acting in this series I just REALLY didnt like the writing.

I Think I Expected Way Too Much
I expected so much more from this show especially with having to pay to watch it.I feel this show could have been so much better had they cut the first 8 or so episode in half and spent more time on the storyline involving Suwan. This is when the show started to get interesting. In the end even with 18 episodes the ending felt rushed and anti-climatic. This show needed more focus instead of trying to do everything and then doing none of it well. There were probably only 2 episodes I really enjoyed and where I felt this show was actually going to go somewhere but it didnt last long.
I really wanted to enjoy this show but mostly it was just wishing for a more fleshed out story than all the teasing and going in circles.

Binged this one
This was better than I expected. I ended up watching this staight throug. I just couldnt wait for the next episode. I had to know how this rollercoaster was going to end. I laughed and cried. This show was a bit over the top at some points but that was mostly the comedy part of it. It was a bit of a ride with the love triangle then square then who knows.I love Japanese shows probably the most out of the asian genre. I have yet to find one I don't like on some level. If you like Japanese shows and have watched the range of them you will probably enjoy this but if you haven't had a lot of exposure you may find it annoying.

Almost didn't watch but glad I did
I almost didn't watch this. I watched part way thru Ep 1 and was do annoyed with Dr. Cha I quit watching. I decided after a couple of weeks I would give it another go. I am so glad I did! It turned out to be just as funny as it is sad.The chemistry between the characters is so good. The growth of all the characters was rewarding. I left this show feeling content with the outcomes even if some where a bit predictable. It is mostly a lighthearted show that does't get overcomplicated even when dealing with 8 peoples stories.
Definately worth watching.

Worth a watch
If you are looking for something a bit more mature in the BL world give it a watch.I am writing this after my second watch thru. I remember really liking this the first time through probably because it was so different from the typucal BL. The second watch thru i was a bit mire critical.
I still like the idea of this series being a crime mystery but I noticed so many things that just should have been better. Simple things like at least doing a little research to make the medical side more believable. I was also surprised at how awkward MaxTul seemed at times. I also was a bit surprised at the acting of Tul. It just didnt seem like his heart was in it.
I still think this is good for at least one watch thru just because it steps out of the normal storyline and tries something dufferent.

Well written but very dark
This movie is a bit of a roller coaster that keeps you guessing until the very end. You think you know but you probably don't. You may get an idea but the detsils and the why really don't all come together until the end. It is definately worth your time to watch IF you like DARK mysteries. It is a bit soul wrenching so beware. The acting is amazing and the story is put together well. It can get a bit confusing if you don't pay total attention to it. So be prepared to focus. It is not for doing something else while watching.
The re-watch value on this depends on how well you dont remember it. This was my 2nd time watching it. My first view was over a year ago so my brain was like I dont really remember this except for the fact that I remember it was really good.
