Almost didn't watch but glad I did

I almost didn't watch this. I watched part way thru Ep 1 and was do annoyed with Dr. Cha I quit watching. I decided after a couple of weeks I would give it another go. I am so glad I did! It turned out to be just as funny as it is sad.

The chemistry between the characters is so good. The growth of all the characters was rewarding. I left this show feeling content with the outcomes even if some where a bit predictable. It is mostly a lighthearted show that does't get overcomplicated even when dealing with 8 peoples stories.

Definately worth watching.

Worth a watch

If you are looking for something a bit more mature in the BL world give it a watch.

I am writing this after my second watch thru. I remember really liking this the first time through probably because it was so different from the typucal BL. The second watch thru i was a bit mire critical.

I still like the idea of this series being a crime mystery but I noticed so many things that just should have been better. Simple things like at least doing a little research to make the medical side more believable. I was also surprised at how awkward MaxTul seemed at times. I also was a bit surprised at the acting of Tul. It just didnt seem like his heart was in it.

I still think this is good for at least one watch thru just because it steps out of the normal storyline and tries something dufferent.

The soundtrack was good

I loved episide 0 for the most part and was so excited to find out a series was in the works. Oh the let down ...sigh...

Episode One I could accepted begrudgingly, Epidodes 2-9 probably should have been cut in half, a lot of unnecessary filler and back andforth, Episodes 10-12 were acceptable again. An 8 episode series would have been better. That is saying a lot because I usually am disappointed with them but in this case it may have been beneficial!

After all the waiting I expected so much more. It wasnt horrendous just long and tedious. If you watch it just don't expect to much and you may not be as disappointed!

Liked it but....

I usually dont write 1st episode reviews but there were a few things that kinda bug me. I like the overall idea of the story but it isnt very realistic so far.

My issues:

1. When Kim and Kamol hook up the first night there is
zero explanation of what is about to happen. Kamol
asks Kim 3 times if he is drunk which is great
because he is making sure he is able to give consent
But does Kim REALLY know what he is consenting
to? Not really sure he does.

2. Can it please be a bit more realistic? The cuff
was so loose not sure what it's purpose really was.
No talk of safe word. And really in both people they
showed a bit more marking than there should be
kinda borders on torture not pleasure and the wrist
marks where did they come from?

3. The kissing was weird. Neither of them looked like
they'd ever kissed before.

I will definately continue this show. I think it has a lot of potential. I may just have to try to overlook the lack of research on the BDSM side of it but hopefully at least the kissing will get better and there will be some sort of plot. So far it was basically an intro to the characters and the BDSM. Keeping my fingers crossed.

UPDATE: Well I finished it. I kept hoping it would get better but it really didn't. Ithink I may have enjoyed this more had I not watched KinnPorsche first. This show kinda seemed like a low budget knock off of that show. The acting was awkward moreso on Kim's part than Komol's. But Kim mostly seemed indifferent even as he was saying he wasn't.

The BDSM that was part of it's billing really only came into play in episode one, kinda mentioned a few times afterward but that was it. So if that is part of your reason for watching this show you will be disappointed. 50 Shades of Grey had more in it than this show.

If you haven't watched a lot of BL's and haven't watched KinnPorsche you may enjoy this series but for me it just didn't check all the boxes.

Addicted but on steroids

Well that was a bit of a rollercoster! I really liked episodes 1-6. The writing was some of the best I've seen. The dialogue and situations made sense and seemed more real than most.

Episodes 7 and 8 really irritated me. I had to remind myself several times to not watch these episodes with my Western view point. That Mother was the absolute worst and only cared about herself and not her son's happiness.

Then episodes 9 -10 hit! These episodes the envelope was pushed. The toxicity was rampent. If you have relationship traumas these episodes could possibly cause some issues for you. Well, actually they should cause issues with anyone! They aren't graphic but the situation is horrible.

Episodes 11 and 12 pulled it back together though. It made sense of a lot of what happened. There is a shooting scene that happens in episode 10 that you would expect consequences for in these episodes but apparently in this universe getting shot is not anything to hold a grudge over. This truly annoyed me almost more than the whole Mother issue mainly because it made no sense at least with the Mother you can understand even if you don't agree.

I appreciate the acknowkedgement of a mental disorder and how in the end it is not dismissed. Regardless though this series is TOXIC and if had been done in a more "serious" manner would have been terrifying.

I do feel that this is definately one of the better BL's I have seen. The script is more thought out than most and isn't full of a lot of the usual clichés. Will I watch it again? That would be a yes. Mainly because I think having watched it once and the main surprises are known I will definately feel differently about all of it. It will remain to be seen if this is a good or bad thing as I may find more faults with what I liked.

One of the most pointless shows I have watched

I am considering dropping this one. It is getting harder and harder to watch. The dialigue is slow and ridiculous. The lead character and his friends act like they are all 12 years old maturity wise. It is so unrealistic considering they are suppose to be Juniors in University!

Im not even sure what the plot really is. And I have no desire for anyone to get together with anyone else. They are all annoying in they own special way. The GL triangle is unnecessary and adds nothing to the story.

I started watching episode 6 and 5 min in had to stop because the dialogue is so hard to get through. It is just to much.

Uodate:
I finished it. I dont know why but I did. Sadly I camnot recomend this show to anyone. The writing was ridiculous, the acting was mediocre at best. The last episode was absolutely pointless. Well, actually the entire show was pointless! My rating of 5 is mostly out of guilt. I hate leaving bad reviews!

Well written but very dark

This movie is a bit of a roller coaster that keeps you guessing until the very end. You think you know but you probably don't. You may get an idea but the detsils and the why really don't all come together until the end. It is definately worth your time to watch IF you like DARK mysteries. It is a bit soul wrenching so beware.

The acting is amazing and the story is put together well. It can get a bit confusing if you don't pay total attention to it. So be prepared to focus. It is not for doing something else while watching.

The re-watch value on this depends on how well you dont remember it. This was my 2nd time watching it. My first view was over a year ago so my brain was like I dont really remember this except for the fact that I remember it was really good.
