I found it! An edit of Dudu as WenXiao and HanYan, beating her man because she was that worried and upset at them. And then that hug they pulled her into. ❤️
In recent years, as i’ve gained more control over my creative work, i’ve basically stopped writing purely romantic stories. the most common thing i say when taking on projects is: “i don’t accept stories where the sole dramatic purpose is to serve a romance.”
love is beautiful, of course, but i prefer to treat it as just one element among many. my protagonists would never put romance at the top of their life priorities.
the pain they endure is often not born from love, but rather from the unpredictability of life, the harshness of reality, and the enigmatic nature of humanity.
their deepest desires usually aren’t about love, either. they’re more about survival, the pursuit of justice, and self-realisation.
this holds true for my current work .
yet to my surprise, so many people have become invested in the romance between zhuang hanyan and fu yunxi. upon reflection, i realised that perhaps it’s precisely because we wrote them as people first, rather than simply a ‘woman’ and a ‘man’, that their love story became so much more convincing.
Did anyone else notice how Yunxi was on the side with all the family members/loved ones who passed away? That…
To me it’s a hint he lives but will prob go earlier than his wife and family. And when he does, her family will be there so he won’t be alone; meanwhile on her side it shows when he’s gone she has his family (stepmom and sis) with her. The two will be apart but won’t be alone and will still have family.
HE. It’s worth it if you’re into heavy stuff like schemes, abuse, manipulations, tragedies etc. There’s barely any saints. Main couple can be consider grey/red flag characters. Romance isn’t the focus either so no cute, fluffy romance but there is chemistry between them even if it’s like a few seconds or minutes.
It's important to always consider that mystique in Chinese civilization is a trait that manifests itself in its…
If you haven’t yet, maybe put this in a topic discussion for future viewers? It might get buried by comments and new viewers won’t see your wonderful post.
The Song dynasty was the first dynasty to used guns so yes, they had guns during the Ming dynasty. And if you’re…
As an assassin why would you used a gun that makes a loud BANG to attract people? 👀 Assassinations are done swiftly and quietly. Guns are prob hard to come by too, rare back then?
lmao did she pull that gun out of her ass? do they even have gun at that time??
The Song dynasty was the first dynasty to used guns so yes, they had guns during the Ming dynasty. And if you’re a cdrama watcher you should know those big ass sleeves of theirs are also pockets. 🤣
Like all dramas out there, there are some plot holes but this is a masterpiece, one of a kind. I love it that…
Same! I want batshit crazies as leads. 🤣 Leads that kills just because it’s fun, they’re bored and they can cuz strong. Dudu would be perfect for it. Now we need an actor who can pull off the crazy to join her.
Why is it always straight to the torture chamber??? like even when the ppl confess willingly they always take…
To make sure it’s the real truth they confessed? To hurt the prisoner psychologically and to hurt whoever is waiting for their return? 🤣 I guess it’s all mind games.
